Q: Any one else getting 2.5# bags with only 2# in them?

Q: How does this compare to dr. harvey's bird food? this is less expensive and i'm considering switching.

I prefer this to dr Harvey’s i believe it is a fresher better blend of food

Q: What percent of the food is pellets and what percent is seed?

It is more pellet than seed day about 80% the pellets are different sizes shapes and colors, I mix this with my cockatiel seed to give more pellets in the seed brand I purchase since my birds are die hard seed eaters but will eat this pellet type as well as their seed. Also feed this to my love birds and conures

Q: Is this mix good for Budgies or any other parakeets?

No I don’t believe it is there are seeds budgies and parakeets won’t eat as well as pellets that are to big and hard for them look for breed specific foods for budgies and parakeets they can eat smaller pellets that are for canaries I know that budgies and parakeets love fresh foods like leaf romaine or paper thin slices of apple hung from the side of their cage at the food bowl.
