I read other reviews that spoke of the quality and I agree. The bit engages firmly, the head doesn’t easily strip, and the threads hold. Having been disappointed by big box screws and previously ordered amazon screws, working with these screws from bcl were a treat. I am ordering another size now.

After a screwy purchase from Home Depot...
I decided to try these screws out. The ones we bought in a variety pack from Home Depot were beyond awful. Both of the two screws I tried broke off mid-install. Oh, what fun!Needless to say, these screws drove into the same wood effortlessly. No breaking. No stripping. Wish I'd got these first!
