I bought 2 of these for girls of a friend They used them in my pool and LOVED them!

Purchased as a component for a Halloween costume, it was used not as a mermaid's lower appendage, but as a sea-serpent's tail. I stuffed it with lightweight filler materials (mostly held in place by the 'snaps' included in the 'tail fin'), and found that the final results went over swimmingly. The fabric seemed to endure just fine, so I would have to imagine that it will hold up equally well when used by little mermaids everywhere.

This is an excellent buy! I was very wary because the price was so good and I expected Asian sizes, meaning it'd be too small. The large is stretchy and the waist is elastic so it hugged itself to my body quite perfectly. I used the 2 tails monofin inside and it swam swimmingly! Quality, print, design, and everything is absolutely great. If you're curvy the large will fit you - I'm 12-14 in pant sizes and it would still fit someone larger but not be too big on someone like me.I highly recommend this product and I am already buying tons more! It's really cute. But I expected a thicker material. This one is pretty flimsy. However my daughter still loved it. Well worth the price.

Looks great but sadly after the second use the rubber strap (that tightens upYour feet) busted. My little girl is saddened. I sent a message about warranty, I willKeep everyone updated with ease of communications and warranty from this company.Follow Up - Company sent out a new MonoFin after an simple message. A+ Seller.

The mermaid tail is cute and fits as I expected but the "snaps" on the bottom of the tail (for monofin placement) are plastic. On the first time my daughter wore the tail (not even using the monofin) she unsnapped the tail and one of the plastic snaps came completely off. I purchased another tail that has metal snaps and seems to be a little better quality, both tails were made by the same company. I am exchanging the defective tail in hopes another one will be a little better made.

So I got a mermaid tail and love it. swim suit material little thin but durable. the buttons on the bottom I have to replace or get some sort of Velcro for it as they started to fall off other than that fast shipping and what I expected.

Wsa so excited when I got this but was right away dissapointed when I tried them on. THe tail was WAY too big. Ordered an Adult- Medium because someone recommended it to me but that was so the wrong size. There were three clasps to keep the monofin in it, but only two clasps work and the third clasp had both male ends making it impossible to close. I guess I'll make do with the monofin and order something like this another time. I wasnt too desperate for it anyhow.
