Does not work correctly with app
I've tried for hours now, but I give up. I installed app, connected, and it seemed to work, although the default buttons were nowhere near where I needed them. I started new, arranged buttons, tested and saved. Worked great, until I exited game. That was 4 hours ago and I can't get nothing to work right since. I've deleted app several times, cleared cache/data, used paper clip on reset on back, but nothing works. The buttons stay on default mode, making this controller useless. Even stranger, when preset loads, my button arrangement is still perfectly placed where they need to be, but I still have default actions like they are ghost buttons. I'm so aggravated. My phone is Galaxy S8+ and the game is Genshin Impact.

It works well, but you need to understand how the companion app, ShootingPlus V3, works.
I am only familiar with using controllers on a PC, so it took me a while to figure out how to use these on my Android. This controller connected with no issue via Bluetooth, but beyond that, it didn't seem to do anything with any of the games. I downloaded the ShootingPlus V3 app and didn't understand what it did either off the bat. Then after searching for a YouTube tutorial of 'creating a new preset with ShootingPlus V3' it finally clicked. ShootingPlus V3 was the only program only phone that registered button presses with this controller. After viewing the tutorial, I realized that you must use ShootingPlus V3 in the background, then you open the game you want to play. The program lets you assign controller button presses to the equvelant of a finger tap at an x,y coordinate on your screen. You will use this program over top of your android game (with onscreen controls showing), dragging each button on your controller to the respective place on your screen that you want to register a finger tap when you press the controller button.I gave this a 4/5 because this type of controller and integration method with your games may require a little more education. It took me a few hours to figure it all out and I thought that my controller was not compatible before realizing how it is supposed to work. Once I understood how it worked, I was able to use the controller with any game on my phone that uses onscreen controls and save a preset for that game. The shootingPlus V3 program comes with a few standard profiles that are ready to go for games like PUBG, and Call of Duty. You can even laugh those games directly from shootingplus. Outside that though, and if you are interested in using the controller with a lesser known game or with something like retroarch, you'll need to go through a tutorial for ShootingPlus V3 (doesn't matter what controller the tutorial uses). Hope this helps others understand how to use this controller.

Good budget controller
This product works well out of the box after an initial charge. When pairing to my android I found that I had to hold x and the home button for it to function properly. Connected to my windows pc using the dongle that came with it and everything worked as it should. Cons:Battery, although good, did not last 12 hours like the description said. I got about 6 and a half hours out of the first charge. Dead zone on joysticks is a bit large. Would not recommend for precision gameplay but works well for most of what I have tried. Overall great deal for the price.

Takes some getting used to but works great!
Controller feels great in hand, material is good. There's a bit of grippiness on the handles which is helpful. It's lightweight and battery life is excellent. The controller takes a bit of configuration for the games you want to play if your game is not on the list of the ShootingPlus V3 app. However, once you get it going, it's pretty cool and extremely customizable on how you want to configure your buttons.

not good
i don't like how it's designed and how the buttons are placed. The joystick knobs are also not very responsive/accurate and it's hard to use for racing games. The phone's clamp is also kinda flimsy and is too close to the buttons. I do not like it at all.

Works with samsung galaxy, android. Good battery life
I play old school emulators on my phone with this. Just connects right to android bluetoothThe mapping of buttons is easy.Battery life is good. feels like a play station controller. Holds your phone nice and tight.Only down side is the controls are a little loud. Still give it 5 stars though

Can't invert y axis
Great controller except for one flaw, you can't invert y axis on COD Mobile. For those of us who have always played inverted this is a deal killer. Absolutely useless for me. Very disappointed.

Faulty/badly designed buttons
I don't know if my product is defective or if this is just how it is but The joysticks don't really work as joysticks they have to be to the most extreme position before it registers as movement. For instance I can't slowly move to the left by moving the joystick just a little bit I have to move the joystick until it stops before anything will happen. You'd have the same amount of control using just regular arrow buttons. It's not because of game settings I've gone through all the settings and I've tried it on different games and it's same for every one. Also if your game is heavy on one specific button that buttons going to wear out real quick. After 5 hours of gameplay the right trigger button became very loose.
