I needed a clock in my bedroom so I could see the time in the middle of the night since I have a newborn. It hangs right next to my bed and I can see it at anytime of the night. It is true that it dims out after a while but I can still see it just fine. I imagine if it's too far out you wouldn't be able to see it but for me it's perfect. It does not go completely dark even after many hours it still glows even if it's not so bright.

It's great to wake up and correctly see what time it is. I had too many incorrect readings with a regular alarm clock. Liked it so much that I bought a second one for the other side of my bed.

At first glance we had high hopes for this clock. When it lights up it is very visible and a nice color. However, it only stays lit up for an hour or two each night, so therefore it doesn't meet the need. Instruction "sheet" is one sentence on a 3" x 3" scrap of paper.

Husband wanted something with large numbers he could see while watching TV in a darkened room. The numbers were not stuck very well so had to reglue a few down. It also loses a few minutes time every few days even with new batteries

I bought this clock so I wouldn't have to reach for my phone and glasses to check the time at night. It is large enough to see but the luminous dial fades over night. I had to return the first one I ordered. The numbers are stickers and one was torn, half missing. Not bad for the price.

had 2 of these previously so definitely would purchase them again. like the size and how quiet they are, the glow is awesome during the night

This clock does not illuminate to the extent shown in the picture. The amount of effort required to even get it to light up for an hour is not worth the time. The lights show a slight glow for a few hours when you first fall asleep - but the glow is out by the time you actually need to see the time in the middle of the night. Great idea, but even if you’re holding it next to the sun for the entire day, it still won’t glow for more than a few hours.
