I had bought an air pump from Amazon a few weeks back. It was a dud. I bought this for hatching brine shrimp eggs. The noise level is low and it does not bother me at all. I am hatching the brine shrimp in the kitchen thus the noise level is important. The pump is quite strong and gives the two 3 litter bottles I have with enough water circulation.Follow up May 11, 2021 - still works as a charm, 8 months of continuous use and no issue at all. Today I wanted to buy another one for use with several outdoor vats. The current price was a shock. I recall buying this for $11.99 and now priced almost 3X more. I opted to buy another brand, also with 4 outlets, for $19.99 and because of the price increase, I am going to give it only 3 stars.

Really quiet and have 4 air outlets. So I don’t have to worry about checking 3 air pumps, great upgrade for my fishy. And good thing is they give you extra air stones. It’s bang for the buck

Started fine but over time lost pump power and got loud. Right after the warranty and I am not paying for another one of these. I fixed it once but the nature of the repair was such it was going to fail for good if I had to repair again. I would like a refund but this seller won't do anything too hard to get a hold of they have not replied to my complaints so review is overdue. Do not buy this item if you want it to last a long time in a quiet manner with full pump power this is not the pump. It's bad

This was supposed to be quite but was unable to use in a bedroom because it was so loud. Hoses provided were medical tubing and not plastic tubing normally used for fish tanks.

I live in a small house. Could not get rid of the noise. Finally doubled over a towel, put thick form block on it, then put pump inside a doubled over bed pillow on the foam. Worked like a charm--noise gone. Pump is very powerful.OK. After writing the above review I've had more time with this thing. I wear hearing aids, (my wife says I'm deaf even with them on) and this is driving me crazy. You definitely DO NOT want this in a room where you want quiet. I'm leaning towards throwing it through the window. IT IS NOT QJIET.!! It is a good pump- but be forewarned. Put it in another room where you don't want to spend time.

Okay, since it is near water, one concern is that it does not have the CE mark from Europe indicating safety. It has a symbol that almost looks like the euro CE, but it means Chinese Export. So much for safety. The unit actually has four independent pumps each one going to a tube. When set on max speed it is relatively quiet, but if you slow it down it starts to give off a high pitch whistle. It seems to work fine at full throttle with all four pump outlets connected.

Super quiet, great air pressure.

Purchased this pump and realized that the on/off feature does not work. Amazon sent a replacement. However, the replacement has the same issue. It does not turn off. I have to unplug it to turn off.
