Depends on your use case whether you’ll see value
Used this product to install on the metal clips of my new bike rack. They were ok although they took a lot of extra effort that maybe could be solved if there was actually some stickiness to one side of the product. I had to use electrical tape to secure it in place then cut them smaller as they are extremely big, at least for my use case it’s too much. I guess you’d rather have it to big and then cut it to down to your needed specs. Doing it over if use electrical tape and wrap the clupsnin a thin layer and save my money... my 2 cents for what it’s worth

Dangerous, they slip out while driving only a few miles
I drove all the way from Maine to Florida and back using scraps of old towels to prevent scratching and that worked great, even in heavy rain and snow, over 4000 miles with no problems. I use a Thule bike rack on my Rav4, follow all installation instructions, and it as solid a rack as can be.Then I bought these, and put them on the same vehicle and drove to my local outdoor center for a bike ride. Within 2 miles I heard clacking noises and both of the bottom straps had come loose. I tightened everything up as much as possible, and made it the rest of the way without a problem. When I finished my bike ride, I tightened everything up even more before putting my bike on it, and all straps were tight and solid, and it wasn't budging at all. When I got home the bottom two straps were hanging loose, and also one of the side straps had come off, leaving the whole thing hanging free from the top two straps only.Maybe it is just my vehicle isn't a good fit for them, but I won't use them again. I don't want to risk having the whole thing fall off and causing a crash hazard for someone else. I am going back to the towel scraps.I think the material is too slippery and can easily slide around and then slip out going over a bump or railroad crossing, and I don't trust them anymore.

I'm happy
I use these on my trunk rack. I'm happy with my purchase. they're plenty thick enough and cover enough area to protect one's car. They're simple, but I don't really find anything lacking. they do the simple job they're meant to do. they don't seem like they'll wear or tear any time soon.

Durable, Good Quality
The product does its job well. Protected the rental car i used to drive from FL to NC. Had the bike rack with the bike installed on the SUV. The SUV came back unscratched. I am using it now on my Subaru WRX and I am very pleased with it. The product is durable and protects the vehicle from scratches made by the bike rack strap locks.

That will do pig
Using the pads for my bike racks hooks so metal on metal doesn't rub. I think they will do the job alright.Basically, that'll do pig.
