EDIT: It's been a few months now, and for the first time in years, I have no hangnails, no peeling around the nail bed, and the ridges on my nails are visibly improved. New pix to show just how much things have changed, and I'm delighted.I'm 75, and my hands have been through a fair amount of injuries and "oops" moments. In the 80s, I had acrylic nails for a couple of years, and that was when the serious damage began. Until now, my nails were dry, I had vertical ridges on all but the smallest nails, constant hangnails, and cuticles that were cracked. Even with regular clipping, filing and buffing, moisturizing, and nail protection products, nothing seemed to help.I purchased a single bottle of Reconstrux on impulse probably a year or more ago, tried it a couple of times and then couldn't find it. It showed up again as I was sorting out the linen closet, so thought I'd give it another shot. After a couple of weeks I realized that nails that had been splitting as soon as they passed the nail bed had stopped catching on things.Now I'm seeing a reduction in the ridges, the cuticles aren't drying out, I haven't had a hangnail for a couple of weeks, and for the first time in decades I'm happy with the way my nails look and feel. I have been a life long nail biter, I have stopped a few times in the past and actually successfully used this same product years ago. My nails were in really rough shape. We went on a girls spa day and my nails were so short I didn’t even want to get them done it was so embarrassing!! Our manicurist asked me what has helped me stop in the past and I remembered I had started using this last time I kicked the bad habit. I mentioned it to her and she said she’d recommend to another client of hers who was also in the same boat. I decided that day I would STOP biting my nails for good and picked up this product again since the results were so good in the past. It really works great! Not only are my nails growing surprisingly quick but they feel much stronger than before. I use twice daily, morning and night. I’m very happy with this product and I’ll keep using it and will definitely restock myself when I run out.

I've tried so many products that say they do this or that for after-acrylic, back to natural nails, and none have come through. Reconstrux is probably the least expensive of the most recent I've tried and it actually makes my nails look wonderful and natural without a polished look, which is the look I want. This is a wonderful product and I plan to order more so my nails can continue on this wonderful growth course.

I was skeptical since nothing has ever helped. I have used everything. My shreddy, peeling nails get to the point of being painful as they deteriorate in from the end of my finger. I began using this product as it claimed to be able to penetrate the nail since other "sealing" treatments only exacerbated the issue. I use it twice a day and it keeps the nail intact and more "normal". I will definitely continue to purchase and use Reconstrux.

I've been using Reconstrux for quite a few years. What I notice the most are my cuticles. Don't know why, but since I've been using it, my cuticles are well tamed. No other product I've used compares. Nice, longer nails is still a challenge.

This product is the BEST for strengthening weak nails and promoting growth. Beauty supply stores no longer carry it, so get it while you can!!!

Only thing that helped me with rehabing my nails.....used it in the past too! Great stuff...highly recommend!
