Stainless Anchor Snubber Hook

Once the chain is set it’s virtually impossible to throw the hook off due to the depth of the throat. It’s strong, holds in a stiff and prolonged wind and makes easy work of building the bridal assembly. Finally, it slips on easily and quickly, nice that there’s no fiddling with a locking or snap-type attachment.

Used it to make an anchor bridle and it goes on and off the chain easily.

This product isn't stamped anywhere and it's also magnetic. 316 stainless steel is the most nonmagnetic of the stainless steel. Products with this rating are mostly stamped to indicate the type and they are never magnetic.This chain snubber seems to be galvanized steel but who knows what grade.UPDATE:It didn't last one season. It worked great for a while but eventually got bent beyond usability. Would gladly have paid a bit more for proper 316.

I really like the design and ease of use but mine bent in a 40kt blow. And once it did, I hammered it back into place but now it keeps bending back, it makes me wonder if it's really made of stainless steel. I'm going to use a magnet like another reviewer did and see.
