It was ordered for my wife before going on a trip / hiking to Italy and Malta and has proven itself well. Lightweight, washes well, comfortable and easy to pack and didn't retain any odor.. Loved the hood and built in gator. Great for layering and useful in changing weather. The neck gaiter and the thumb holes offer a good sun protection for the face and hands.There are a few small flaws:1. The quality is not bad but not perfect, as it was mentioned in other reviews, the sewing is minimalist2. Wish it let in more air3. Unfortunately, there are no such shirts in dark colors for men, and light ones are not so comfortable in hiking conditions - gets dirty quite fast and is not that easy to clean

Bought this top for a hiking trip in small/white, which obviously gets dirty easier (which I expected and don't have a problem with) but kept cooler. It's a relaxed fit with mesh side panels, which also help keep cool. Loved the thumbholes that keep the sleeves in place and protect back of hands. The hood protects sides of face and can be pulled over a cap or wore under cap. Hood also has elastic that keeps it in place. And not shown in their pics, but there's a discreet opening in the back that allows you to pull through your ponytail. Loved this for keeping hair off of my back. Neck gaiter can be pulled over mouth and nose as a mask against covid when passing people on trail or to protect against sand during windy conditions. And the back zipper pocket is sooo handy for small items. No sweat stain and quick drying. No sunburn! My friend, who was hiking in a tank top, tried it on and said she felt cooler in this top because it kept sunlight and heat off of her skin. All in all, this top is very well designed for the practical needs of most outdoor activities. It's my new favorite summer hiking shirt and I'm gonna buy more when my size becomes available again.

I use this shirt for climbing. As other reviewers said, the hood is quite big, which is perfect above a helmet. I guess it may be difficult to adjust directly in the head. The neck gaiter and the thumb holes offer a good sun protection for the face and hands. Contrary to some, I did not burn or tan even after a full day in direct sunlight.The shirt is relatively hot however, and it does not allow as much air flow and temperature control as a tank top, even with mesh panels on the sides. I used it in 30+°C and it was OK but hot and sweaty. On the good side, the shirt did not retain any odor. On the bad side, it gets dirty quite fast and is not that easy to clean (but I guess it is a fatality when doing outdoor sports). The quality is not bad but not perfect, as it was mentioned in other reviews, the sewing is minimalist and I guess I will have to resew in a near future. I was lucky enough to be able to use the shirt more than a month without problems but I think that less lucky people will have the sewing falling apart within a few days.

I ordered a small ( 5'4/125lbs) and its fit well. It is not too snug or loose. I am only using this for working on my roof in the desert sun. I never got any color for the entire day on the roof so the SPF is good! I used the hoodie with a hat over it and I like that the sleeves have a thumb hole so it stayed put with gloves on. On occasion I tried to use the face mask portion would it did not stay in place, but I think that is because of the hat. I hoped the back pocket would be large enough for my phone, but it is really only good for maybe a key. I think an external sleeve pocket would be better as to put a phone in it. Looks good in white.

I enjoy seeing my wife in soft white blouses...and this one is no exception. It's soft, white and fits really well. I know she will wear it with jeans and be Queen Of The Day! My Queen! She will also use it to for Casual Dressy purposees.

I have a few other Baleaf shirts I wear in winter that I love so decided to try this.However I don't like the way the neck gaiter is outside of the hoodie, it makes the whole area around the neck fit oddly and not lie smoothly, it feels heavy and uncomfortable. The hoodie part should have been outside of the neck gaiter. As it is, if you want to pull up the neck gaiter without the hoodie, you will get a big bunch of material from the hoodie gathered around your neck. And if you don't use either, then it falls oddly so the inside of the neck gaiter is showing. It's just weird, and makes me like this shirt a lot less.I have other sun protection shirts, and this one is a bit heavier than those.But other than the funky fit around the neck, this fits fine and is comfortable everywhere else.

I absolutely love this shirt! Not to mention this brand Baleaf. It started with a pair of yoga pants that I now own 10 pair. I went on a trip to Alaska 3 weeks ago and needed a product that would be water resistant with feature to keep me warm and dry. Well, this shirt was perfect! I wore it with a thin long John shirt under it, sweater over it no winter coat just a raincoat by baleaf over it! And I remained warm and dry. The best feature was the attached hood with the face cover which helped keep the Alaska wind and rain off my face! The other feature which I love is the thumb holes that kept the shirt in place and kept my hands warm in my pocket. May I add I also purchased Baleaf water resistant yoga pants with interior flannel and they completed this outfit to keep me warm and dry in Alaska! LOVE IT! Will purchase more for myself and family for our ski trips! A great investment and buy!
