Good product
When I purchased this, I didn't think of the size chain saw I have and after bolting this to it.. it only left a 12 inch cut, so, not good for what I need... purchased a much larger chainsaw and will try it again. As far as cutting the smaller logs with my current chainsaw, this works great. So I'm sure it will work even better with the bigger/longer saw.UPDATE: after using the correct size saw for the tree I was cutting up. This works great!! Easily adjust the thickness of the wood you want. Did this in about 1.5 hrs. Averaged 4 minutes per board at 101 inches long.

Floating shelves
The media could not be loaded. Assembly was not difficult, but instructions are a bit confusing. It was my first time using this type of mill and it did what was supposed to do. We used it to make 3 floating shelves from a rough 4” x 12’ rough cedar. It will take some physical labor to push it through. This is where the higher the cc on your chainsaw, the easier to cut through. Some other products have a system adapted to pull your chainsaw, but there’s at least 6week waiting time. Would be worth the wait, if you have extra time.This unit was a good value for the money.

Great chainsaw mill
Product worked fine right out the gate. Easy to assemble and easy to use with large ms660 36 inch chainsaw.

Good but needs work
Rail system works well and is lightweight. The wrenches that come with it are cheap and easily bend. Also had the blade guard fall off the first time using it. The bolts could also beonger as have had the nuts cone apart too.

an18" bar can only cut 11" boards. 24" bar & chain = 18" boards Happy to use on trees in my yard.
Assembly easy enough & comes with parts diagram. We watched a couple videos. All regular safety issues apply: no loose clothes, hair. Eye protection etc. It helps if you have some one placing shims be hind you as you cut every 3 to 4 feet. Be aware of keeping it level when you get to the end where rest is no longer holding up the cutting bar, or it tends to dip down and put an angled cut on your board

Great product!!!
This product was easily assembled. With the price of lumber right now this definitely will save you some money. Now let me save you some time. You will want to use a bar that is at least 20" long and you will also want to use a ripping chain. Both of which you can find on Amazon. Once I put the ripping chain on it was like cutting butter. The amount of money this has saved us is amazing. Working on a barn build now.

Good value for the money, for the hobbyist I recommend it.
It works very well, I have a 20 inch bar on a Husqvarna. I would’ve constructed it so some of the tightening bolts were easier to get to but once you have it on there it doesn’t move. I have only been doing it for a month but before that I was using a brand-name version for a smaller shop. The only problem I have is the set screw for the grab bar keeps coming loose and you can’t put A lock washer on it. Other than that I am very happy with it.
