I have been buying individual boxes of these TouchFlex gloves at the drugstore, but they are no longer available, so I decided to buy this case of 1000. The gloves I was buying were actually a blue-violet color, but these are bright sky blue, even though they say they're violet. The violet ones were quite strong, although they did sometimes rip when I worked in my garden if I handled dried plant stems. I hope these blue ones will be just as good.I pulled both a blue and a purple glove out of their boxes to compare them. Both are the same brand, but you can see from the photo that the blue one from this order is extremely wrinkled and, even when smoothed out, is smaller than the violet one. I question whether these blue gloves are pure nitrile or a mix of nitrile and vinyl. They are both the same thickness -- 3 mil as measured with a micrometer -- in spite of the product being advertised as 4.5 mil. I've ordered a different brand that's roughly $20 cheaper for 1000 gloves and has numerous good reviews, in contrast to these gloves, which had no reviews until I wrote mine. If the next bunch is at least as good quality, these blue gloves will be going back.
