The shipping from Final Deal was fast. I received my order in two days. The packaging is efficient, and the product arrived undamaged. The eight plastic panels are individually bagged in plastic, and snugged into a perfectly sized cardboard box, with the instruction manual on the bottom of the box, along with a large package of attractive stickers.Other reviews of this playpen say the stickers peel off, and their kids eat them, so I'm not planning on using them. Which is too bad, because they are actually very fun looking. Maybe I'll use them elsewhere at some point.Each of the eight colorful panels snaps together at a preformed hinge point with the next panel. Each panel employs two vertical pins on one end and two vertical sockets on the other. The pins are formed with a small snapping barb, so you just force them together, and they won't come back apart without using a screwdriver to separate them.The panels are also pre-formed with holes you can run a drywall screw through to secure to a wall if desired.Because of the universal design of the panel hinges, you can use any number of the panels together, you don't have to use all eight. Or you could buy two kits and make a super-jumbo playpen. Also, since the hinge angles bend anywhere from 180 to 60 degrees, you can make free form shapes to fill an odd-shaped space in a room.Each panel also has two suction cup feet attached to the bottom. Our floors are carpeted, so they won't be sticking down, but they make a decent non-slip point of contact with our berber-style carpet.If you are worried about the space, I can assure you the completed playpen space is plenty large for a baby or toddler. Even two of them! (Baby Thunderdome!) The seller might try photographing the product with a baby model and a parent model to give a better impression of size.I am happy to report this playpen feels sturdy, durable, and is safe for babies! It's a really great design, and I am very glad to have chosen this particular playpen! There are no small pinch points to hurt small hands.The locking mechanism on the door is completely baby-proof. Once unlatched, the door swings open easily allowing you to stroll inside the enclosure. It even comes with two tiny ramps for the bottom of the doorway panel, making it easier should you need to roll something in or out of the doorway.One of the reasons I picked this playpen over some of the other designs - the bars are only vertical. There are no horizontals or diagonals for my child to hook his fingers and toes into to enable him to climb out of it later as he gets older.Overall, I wholeheartedly endorse this playpen!

We bought this to keep our son in a designated area but not one so small he didn't have room to play and explore. This works great, we assembled it in the circle as shown in the main photo and have been very happy with it. I'm 5'8" and can lay down across the widest section. We have it set up on carpet and have not had any issues with it shifting or being pushed around. It's very sturdy, our son is tall for his age but he hasn't been able to budge it. He loves being able to pull himself up on it or peek through the slats. We did not use the stickers, per other reviews on similar products from other sellers, we didn't want to take the chance of them peeling off. Very happy with our purchase, we may buy another one so we can use both to break down and block the "off limits" areas now that he is becoming more mobile.

Returning ours due to the item having a lot of broken pieces or scrap plastic from the manufacturing process that are choking hazards for children and animals. We were setting it up and pieces of plastic were falling out of the little holes that connect the panels together.One of our 8 month olds was crawling around and grabbed one of the pieces and put it in her mouth, luckily the wife saw her and ran over to check her mouth and found a piece 1/4" big.If you get this item be sure to shake the panels and listen for anything rattling around inside.

We bought this Playpen for our daughter when she started crawling. It was easy to put together, and great for keeping her secure while I needed to put her down. When set up on its own, it had a decent amount of space for her to sit and play, and crawl a bit. We even used it when we went on vacation and set it up in our cabin for our daughter to play. As she got a little bigger we used it to close off a space in our living room by stretching it from one wall to the other. The only problem was that we couldn't figure out a way to attach it to the walls without taking off the gate. I am not sure if we were missing some pieces, but it appeared that the wall attachment pieces are also what holds the gate together, so we would have to lose the gate to be able to secure it to the walls. We ended up finding other ways to keep it secure. When our daughter started standing and pulling herself up on it, it stayed very sturdy. She was not able to pull it down or climb over it (and trust me, she tried). We did not put the stickers on, due to reviews of children pulling them off. But our daughter loved the little play wall with the phone and spinners!

HUGE! I did not measure before I bought this and it does not fit in my small town home. I could make it smaller by not using all panels but decided not too. Tried to return but the sender has to pay shipping to return and it is more to ship back than the cost of the item. Has suction cups on the bottom of each panel that stick well to a wood or ceramic tile floor.
