Neutrogena Naturals Acne Cream Cleanser, 5 Oz

Doesn't completely eliminate acne. Not a strong but a mild cleanser. Very suitable for daily use. Wouldn't recommend for excessively oily skin. Yet I'd give it 4 stars for after-wash feel & fragrance!

I've suffered from mild to moderate acne for over a decade (I'm now in my 20s), and have tried almost ever acne product in Walmart's skincare aisle, as well as other lines like ProActiv and Mario Badescu. None of them cut it, and most left my skin red and irritated. Nowadays, I'm usually one to never impulse buy a skincare product as I like to research it thoroughly beforehand, but about a year ago I randomly ran across Neutrogena's Naturals line at Walmart. It was during a particularly bad breakout for me and I was desperate, so I chucked it in my cart and hoped it would at least do something to help curb my face demons. Well, it did.The Naturals Cream Cleanser is one of a small handful of face washes that actually lessens my acne. Bonus: my skin doesn't freak out after using it. I love the scent and the cool, tingly sensation it gives when you wash it off (reminiscent of a Biore product I had tried years ago). I was worried that the 1% salicylic acid wouldn't, but the other ingredients more than make up for it. At the beginning of 2016, my Walmart stopped carrying this particular item and so I opted for the Foaming Scrub. I know a lot of people like it, but it was no where near as effective as the Cream Cleanser for me, and the smell was off-putting. I was so happy when I realized Amazon sold this and I hope they continue to do so!TL;DR: I love this product for my mild to moderate acne. It doesn't get rid of everything, nor did I expect it to (I have yet to find the so-called Holy Grail of Skincare that banishes all things acne), but it does help clear my face quickly of blemishes and works to prevent new ones from forming. Will it work for everyone? No, because everyone's skin is different. But if you're looking to find a gentle, effective acne cleanser, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I love it! It's the only product that gets rid of my pimples. A lot of people give it negative reviews because it turns their face red and I had this issue when I first started using the product but now it doesn't do that to my skin. Here and there it will turn my face red but it goes away after a few minutes and the results are so great that its worth having a read face for a few minutes to have clear skin everyday. I was so sad when they stop selling it in stores so I'm happy I can still buy it on Amazon nothing compares to this product it in my opinion.

I love this cleanser and have been using it for 2 years now. Back then, when I started having serious breakout all over my face, I was trying all kinds of cleanser that would not irritate my skin and still do the cleaning stuff. After trying it the first time, I could feel the different. It was very light and didn't leave my skin squeaky afterward. The smell was fantastic and sweet. I bought it together with the cream. I didn't end up using all the cream but giving it to my mom. She loved it. She told me it was moisturizing her skin so well and she loved the scent also. I would recommend you to get this.

I have extremely sensitive skin, and I've used this product for a while with no issues. Make sure you're not using other skin treatments/makeup/creams that have some of the more potent ingredients also listed on this stuff. It will burn and do other crazy crap if you use too much of any acne treatment, noatter what form it comes in. My skin always feels clean and I love the mint aspect of it. Still having acne troubles, but not nearly as bad. And hello - getting any chemically based substance in/near you eyes (you guessed it) hurts! So no using it to moisten your eyeballs, people. I'm disappointed Target stopped carrying this product, though. Oh well, there's always Amazon!

This product came smelling like a pack of cigarettes. As soon as I opened it I could smell the stench. Absolutely disgusting.
