Status Floor Fan, Stable and Substantial
It is a very good floor fan.Being all metal and I would say a very dark grey, as opposed to black in colour.Very stable on wooden floor, so would expect the same on a carpet, as it is heavy.Length of cable is good.Have not used it yet, as the weather hasn`t been very hot, but the fan, even on the lowest speed appears to be more forceful than my old 16 inch floor fan.A bit noisy, but not too bad.All in all I am very please with it.Oh, yes, it came a day earlier than expected, via Royal Mail and was extremely well packaged.As one who cannot stand the summer heat, I look forward to using it.

Strong fan but too loud for a bedroom.
Strong fan, looks nice, bought to keep the dogs cool during the night, I would have it in my bedroom though as I have a silent one and this is really loud in comparison.

superb quality and nice finish
Excellent quality fan, heavy stable base, not flimsy and very quite.Very hard to buy fans on Amazon, price doesn't seem to follow quality but this fan is a winner.The satin finish iss lovel, the whole unit is well worth the money.

Disappointed!!!
This is a lovely looking fan but unfortunately it is way too loud and powerful for my medium-sized lounge. I only tried the fan on the lowest setting and several family members deemed it unsuitable.
