Great HTC phone
I've used a few HTC phones - M8, U11. I have great impression on the build quality and they last a long time. Recently I lost my U11 and decided to buy a new one. The Desire 20 Pro doesn't let me down. It is fast and responsive. The battery lasts longer before each charge. The price is also reasonable. i use AT&T plan so the internation edition is fine.

Really disappointed
Loved, loved the phone. Great price and value, missing some of the past HTC features. Couldn't get good steady reception. After 5 updates and resetting the network 10 times, still could barely get signal. Too many dropped calls. Verified APN and everything, would go from 5 bars to none and usually say on 1 bar or none. I'll never buy another International phone again!!!! I really didn't want to return the phone!!

Would have been a 5 BUT...
I have been using HTC phones for many years. The most recent a U11 had a cracked screen and rather than replace the screen, I purchased the new though less bells and whistles HTC Desire 20 Pro. This phone would have been an easy 5 on the performance level but the phone I received has a problem with the phone volume tab/button and when I get a phonecall, the person the other end cannot hear me. When I connect the headphones then all is okay. I contacted the company and also advised Amazon but did not get any satisfaction. Since I had already transferred all of my contacts etc, I did not want to get a replacement so have kept the phone as is. The battery life is exceptional, photos and screens are excellent and would recommend purchase. I use with T Mobile and was able to use on a recent trip to UK as well as USA, HTC makes some amazing products, hopefully one day they will be back among the leaders.

A budget phone and it shows.
If you want a big phone with a good battery (3 days use) this is the one for you.It has crappy camera. 4 shitty ones is not better than 1 good. And the LED light is a joke. Almost no settings. It does have a 3,5mm minijack output but compared to HTC 10 it is of much lower quality. Both in sound quality but most importantly power. But is still beats not having one at all (I'm looking at you š)Is got a plastic backside and a plastic frame witch doesn't exactly scream high quality. But it seems sturdy. In conclusion. If you've had the HTC 10 and looking for a upgrade you will be disappointed (like me)Still. Considering the price it's not a bad deal.

Love it so much!
I love my new phone! I had the htc desire 10 pro before this, and it is so much better! The battery life is twice as long (for now), the camera is awesome, much faster than my last phone, the finger print scanner is better, the resolution is pretty good, and it came with the 128gb of memory but also a 64 gb sd card I wasn't expecting! Glad I bought it from here. Such a great deal!

Terrible WiFi and 4G connections
This phone is so damn aggravating. The first problem is also the weirdest: it won't sit on any surface. I don't know how to explain it other than it seems to practically throw itself at the ground if you set it anywhere near the edge of anything. I have never seen any other phone or other object do this. I imagine the back must be slippery-er than a normal smartphone or something because no other phone I have owned has just slid off of absolutely everything so fast and so eerily consistently. Literally within 5 seconds of setting it down it will fall to the floor. If this sounds like dumb user error I want for reiterate that I am putting this thing in the same damn places I was putting my old phone and the other phone didn't wind up on the floor as soon as I turned my head. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With that ridiculousness out of the way here is the real reason I am rating this phone so low: shit signal. The WiFi router didn't change, the phone company didn't change, I didn't move so it is the same local cell towers, this phone gets WAAAAAY worse signal for both internet and phone calls regardless of whether I have WiFi on or not. It must have a crappier antenna or something. It seems to just be worse at everything than the Samsung that bricked itself literally days after coming off warranty about 11 months after I got it. I doubt I will be able to keep this HTC functioning for even 3 months at this point. So far, so very disappointed.

Not impressed with HTC quality control
The phone retails for $420 on-line + just over $600 on Amazon. This HTC was supposed to be HTC's big re-entry into the cell phone market they dominated 10 years ago. So there was a lot riding on it.I am disappointed.- The Seller was unpleasant to deal with + shipped from the US even though the listing said shipping from Canada.- There are very few accessories. The really good screen protector (that I got for the iphone) isn't made for this HTC (in fact, not any HTC).- Even something as basic as the sim tray pin - said to be included in the box - wasn't. So I used a paper clip + that damaged the case.If something that basic is left out - + there were only 5 Included items - there isn't Quality Control. So then what other problems will there be?Nothing yet. Fingers crossed.
