It comes in a plastic bag, no protection, nada. The envelope provides little protection as well.The bulb doesn't look new but it works fine.The old bulb has been there for years and one day it just decided to call it the day and stop lighting up. It's a microwave light bulb that shines the interior of the microwave. Without the bulb lighting up, the microwave still works. It's another one on the to do list. That's until I remembered it :)When I decide to work on the do honey list, I start searching for a bulb using the model number. WOW, it's probably the microwave was too old, it's tough to find one in my local store or the online repair sites.I bought two bulbs local thinking they should work. That's until I get home.Luckily Amazon to the rescue :)The old bulb was very hard to twist and pull. I even tried to use plier. Luckily it's too big to fit in or I'll crush the bulb and hurt myself in the process. I enlist my wife to help. She pulled it off - literally.Now it's time to install the new bulb. OK, honey, why don't you just push and twist. We tried push, it just hangs there staring at us - laughing HAHAHA. Once we remove the pressure, it stops lighting up. We tried different angle, different techniques, finally, it decide to slide in the groove and stays there. Once it stays, it lights as it would a normal microwave oven - when you are cooking and open the door.Another honey do list gets knock off.Honey, how about the other stuff - geewee - give me a break, literally :]

Could not find anyone who carried this item in a town of 100k population. Price was reasonable and shipped quickly. Good experience!

The media could not be loaded.  At first when I pushed it into the socket, I thought it wouldn’t fit bc there are two nibs on the sides but after twisting to find an entry it went in. Like the one-star review video from Brian, at first it flashed then it didn’t go on but I realized the two bottom contact nibs must’ve gotten out of alignment so I twisted until it became snug. Also, checked where the inner nibs would align with the bulb’s bottom nibs. With all the motion of the moving bandsaw blade wheel I can see it may become out of alignment again, maybe. Anyway, I’m so glad that I searched Amazon for this as I’ve never had light on my bandsaw before since it was passed down to me. I would hv minused one star bc it should hv bn delivered more securely than in a soft, tiny thin box in an Amazon bubble bag.

It fit and works.

Didn't fit into the socket in my bandsaw as smoothly as the original Westinghouse bulb it replaced, but it works all the same.

What do you say about a light bulb? It fits.. it works.. I dropped my lamp like a doofus but the bulb and lamp didn't break. 'nough said.

This bulb helped to bring Grandad's old Craftsman band saw back to life. Prefect product.
