I'm glad I bought this version. The cards are so colorful and makes me want to be on the island too. :) The Reminiscence cards give a goal and reason for using the cards you have purchased; rather than just getting them for points or abilities alone.

The game introduces interesting new mechanics and adds the option to play with the base game and Expandong the House, which is really nice.

Probably my favorite expansion so far. It introduces Reminisces to the game, which adds an entirely different strategic edge to play. LOVE the new maids, though I wish there were new private maids too...

Extremely easy to learn, but pleasantly complex on subsequent play-throughs. Just look past the context if it bothers you, as the core game is sound and definitely worth a look.

Its a very interesting card game and if you have a filthy mind like me and my friends the jokes never stop.

This is a fairly basic deck-builder game, not dissimilar to Dominion in terms of play . Play an action (have a Maid Serve you), spend some currency (Love) to buy (Hire) a new card (Maid) which is then placed in your discard pile ready to be shuffled in.The Reminiscences add something different as they require you to discard certain card types or values in order to obtain them.This set doesn't have the Private Maids found in the other Tanto Cuore games or the Illness & Bad Habit cards so is much less antagonistic & more forgiving.It's a straight-forward entry to the deck-building genre with a theme that is either going to appeal or put you off

An excellent deck building game. Better than Dominion in many ways. Very nice box, easy to transport and high quality cards.
