Humble Bee430 Ventilated Beekeeping Suit with Round Veil

Liked the protection of this suit! The veil was open and provided a cooling breath of fresh air. Elastic bands around the feet and hands kept the suit stretched to proper dimensions. There's no fear of riding up and exposing your skin. Be sure to wear a hat that keeps the veil off your neck. The girls can sting you through it if the veil rests against your skin. Overall, I'm very pleased. Worth it!!

Overall, the product is well made, is comfortable, and is sized well. But the bees CAN sting through the material when they get worked up. I received several stings on the shoulders and neck, as well as multiple stings on my forearms. Once I worse full length gloves and a heavy denim shirt underneath, i could no longer be stung through, but with a lightweight shirt and no heavy duty forearm gloves, they absolutely can get you through the material.

This is a GREAT beesuit for women. I've tried on a few and they always were all so bug, but this suit fit perfectly! It's comfortable and well made. I purchased in 2020 and it is still in excellent condition. I have 6 hives so I get into bees pretty regularly. I've washed the suit multiple times (no bleach, free and gentle detergent) with no issues.For those people that say "it isn't sting proof..." no suit is sting proof. In 2 years I've only been stung twice through the suit, and one time was kneeling down and the fabric was taunt against my leg.I like the brand so much I bought a back up suit and 2 jackets. I HIGHLY recommend!

I do like this suit a lot but today I found out that it is not sting proof. While it did protect me from the vast majority of assassination attempts I still got stung 3 times. The vulnerabilities I found are the back of the neck when you bend over and the shoulders where the material was a little tight. Over all it is a comfortable suit even in the heat and it fits me well. It just has a few unexpected areas that I need to add some layers of material to put some distance between me and the bees

After just 3 uses, my suit started coming apart at the main zipper seam. The suit is a loose fit, so it was a workmanship issue. Humble Bee worked with me to quickly resolve the issue and I'm now a very happy customer. The whole family is now wearing Humble Bee suits. We will buy again when the kids outgrow theirs and when ours need replacing.I just wish it had more pockets. Like the velcro pockets at the chest on the nonventilating suits. I understand that the ventilation placement makes this impossible, but maybe some cargo pant style pockets at the legs is a possibility? Also the bag is well made but could be a half inch larger on all sides to make storage a little easier. As it is now, we have to fight a bit to get the suit back in the bag even when tightly folded, and there is just barely enough room for a pair of gloves.I have yet to wash it, but will report back should any issues arise after that. The seam break is a bit worrisome, however, and the company might consider double stitching the weak points at the zippers to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.Overall, great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again or recommend their products.

On a positive note - suit doesn't weigh too much as seems well sewn and constructed. But it is extremely pricey for what you get. I was stung through it on first use. Also - this is not a ventilated suit - this is a suit with a few ventilated squares. There is a huge difference. VERY hot and does not afford good protection. Not impressed.

I’m a first year beekeeper and spent the extra money to get a quality beesuit. I had been using this suit for less that 2 months and the ring around the veil broke…. It snapped in half and I only realized this after I was stung.I was able to contact the company through Amazon and within 2 hours, Humble Bee already had a replacement hood ordered free of charge. Do yourself a favor: Spend the money on a quality suit with a quality company.

We love these suits the only downfall is the hat of the veil is very large and the netting touch’s the face or neck. I haven’t been stung but my husband has. I wear a bucket hat and it makes it snug and keeps the meeting away from my face. The suit part is perfect it breaths well and protects. As we made a split I had half the hive on my belly an legs.. not one sting!!!

Good suit, well made and I like the brass zips and ventilation panels. I bought the xxxl as I'm 6' 2" and 18st. the suit fits great in the body and shoulders but is a smidge too long in the leg. Not too dificult to adjust for length if you're ok with a sewing machine

Worn it once since it arrived, on a pretty hot day and the ventilated bits seem to work ok. I like the all round vision from the hood and the fact that it is an actual hat the sits snugly on my head so the veil doesn't move forward when I am looking in. So far so good.

Mein Mann ist Imker und wir haben bereits einige Anzüge ausprobiert und verschlissen. Diesen Anzug bekam mein Mann zum Eintritt in den Ruhestand und ist mehr als zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung ist toll, die Absicherung am Hals ist ausgeklügelt und die Ärmel und Hosenbeine verfügen über gute Schlaufen, mit denen der Anzug Bewegungsfreiheit garantiert aber bei allen Positionen den Imker schützt! Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich gut!

Trägt sich angenehm - Kopfteil recht klein - in dieser Saison 2* durch den Anzug gestochen worden.... jeweils im Oberarm , 1* links, 1* rechts ... Reißverschlüsse top, die Stiche verunsichern mich als Anfänger ... dachte bei dem Preis ... aber eine „stichfrei“ Garantie gibts halt nirgends ...

Aún no lo he probado, pero se ve de buena calidad. Es ventilado. La talla M, queda un poco justa, sobre todo al agacharse.
