First time buyer and user of a metal detector. Went for this model due to the completeness of the package , the reviews and the tempting price. Assembly was simple involving no more than 3 thumbscrews, 2 slot ins and the winding of the cable around the handle before plugging in said cable. Oh, and the batteries. The manual was comprehensive but in Chinese-English, so a little bit wonky. Needed a touch of patience to match the words against the diagrams. This took us two adults a good 15 minutes but we were both learning new system words. Eventually the machine beeped and we were away on our test circuit of coins! My wife found all 5 quite quickly and tried an all metal mode and a more discerning specialist metal mode. Both worked well. The carry bag and spade appear well made. You do need your own batteries remember, 8 AA. Comfort wise the elbow support works. The weight was noticeable but the balance was good. No faults found but we have the security of the Amazon name.

Easy to assemble and use on basic mode.

Brilliant bit of kit, my nephew has a metal detector and never got out with it so I decided to get one myself. I haven’t had the chance to use all the settings yet but detecting all metal was goo fun. I am looking forward to lock down ending so we can hit Brighton beach and maybe become rich?Very easy to put together and easy to use with a carry bag. I haven’t used the spade thing that it comes with but I have played with it a bit and it seems great. My brother has just purchased one too as he really liked it! Just need the pin pointer device now as that would make the set complete

Great entry level metal detector!Bought this for my son and I for something that we can spend time doing together. Easy to setup, just need 8xAA batteries.Simple instructions make the setting a easy to understand and after about 20 mins we were out detecting. First afternoon with it we found coins, lots of scrap metal and even a small silver chain! Works great to depths of about 6-8 inches and the included carry case along with the shovel were welcome additions.Highly recommend you also get the “pin pointer” this seller also sells as it makes it much easier to find metal items in piles of shovelled ground, I think it was an extra £30 but well worth it.You won’t be disappointed with this detector for the money, my son and I will have many days of fun with it in the future!

Bought this for my wife for a birthday present. Took it out of the package this week to find nothing working. Will not turn on even after trying 3 sets of new batteries. Only has a 30day return policy and not the 13 months you would expect

Not used yet but you can tell it's a starter detector, very hard to read and understand the instruction booklet so I had to check on YouTube who were not very complimentary.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly I would like to say how well this came packaged, this is my first ever metal detector. And all I can say its amazing. So easy to put together, also so easy to set up. I have never used one before. Went out and found stuff straight away. Practiced firstly finding stuff I put down and then went for it. Found this brotch in the picture. Its a great peice off kit I would highly recommended this to anyone.
