Life saver
Back when the M2, on-motherboard, hard drive was less familiar I'm sure I'm not the only person to be confused when adding one to their already built PC you discovered you needed a small stand-off and screw to fit it. You checked the drive box but it wasn't there! It wasn't there because different motherboards can use different stand-offs. There's SOME compatibility I've found but you generally either need the fittings that came with the original mobo, or you need to buy a set.Unless you're retrofitting a bunch of Asus-powered PCs you're not likely to need this many screws but it's actually a fair price for five sets and a screwdriver.

Anti-banana kit
Without this, unless your motherboard or SSD happen to come with these bits and pieces (mine didn't), your SSD will end up permanently banana-shaped, and though perhaps not an immediate death sentence, I really doubt that's good for them in the long run. This comes with the right standoffs, screws, washers etc. of different heights to prevent that, I'm sure it will fit any motherboard and drive combination.I had an ASUS PRIME X470-PRO motherboard and Samsung 970 EVO plus SSD, and together they didn't supply enough screws to use the (optional really) heatsink that ASUS provided: 2 for heatsink + 1 for SSD required, only 2 provided. More importantly, no standoffs either, hence banana-shaped SSD!Very fiddly to get the screw lined up in the right place because it's so small and the supplied screwdriver is not magnetic, but I wouldn't say it's difficult at all. Don't even think of trying it without first laying the board flat. Would be a bit easier if the screw heads were a bit wider, like the ones supplied by ASUS.

Excellent, Generous Kit
For whatever reasons, manufacturers of M.2 devices "forget" to include the stud and screw needed to install the device to the computer instrument it needs to be attached to.Ordered a new Samsung 970 nvme drive but couldn't find the extra screws that came with my MSI mobo. The screws in the kit work perfect with the factory MSI posts so all i needed was one single screw. I now have extras that ill probably never use but at least my drive is installed and running.Pro Tip: install your extra posts and screws that came with your mobo on to your mobo so you dont have to buy new ones like I did.

3.5 stars
These are used to mount the motherboard to a PC case, and come with enough screws to be able to do this. The screws are good quality, but for what they are I think they are slightly overpriced. It comes with a little screwdriver, which seems really cheap quality - like what you would get out of a cracker! The screws are useful to have however if you are building a PC as the motherboard never seems comes with them.

Small but effective set
This M2 standoff and screw set is good quality, well made, and includes a screwdriver. They do the job and are reasonably priced at £7.99. Small but effective little set. Recommended.

Handy and useful
Arrived in a very small polythene bag with all screw in the pocket.Has five sets of differnt type screws along with few washers and a screwdriver.Basically if has got everything you need for your M.2 SSD installation or modification. The quality of all the screws are standard, they seem to be durable as well. This screws also helps to install multilayer M.2 slots with the SSDs one on one. This should also be compatible with heat sink if any for the ATX board though I personally did not use as I was using it for laptop. There is a chance of messing around the screws and losing them. Better transfer and store them in a box or a jar to keep them safe.Downside is you need to buy the whole kit even if you in need of just one specific screw.I would recommend these 👍

Useful To Have In Your Toolbox
This collection of standoffs and screws come in a plastic bag along with a tiny screwdriver that is actually usable. I have my own miniature screwdriver set but it is good to have a suitable screwdriver for those that don't. The standoffs are of varying sizes and will fit in most situations. The screws and standoffs are of a good quality. I'm glad I've got this collection in my PC tool box and it has saved me time and effort when I had to fit an M.2 drive to my motherboard.

Just what I needed to mount an extra hard drive in my motherboard ...
I purchased a second hard drive for my Gigabyte Motherboard. Unfortunately, I did not have any suitable screws to hold it in place and so I was looking around for a suitable set. Whilst this kit is listed as being for Asus motherboards, I was able to use it with mine. The screws were not long enough to work with the existing standoff attached to the motherboard, but I was able to screw in a second standoff from the kit and then use the screw and washer to make it fit.
