Wow! I love these pants. Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight so great for warm weather hiking or camping. Deep pockets. Kind of fitted so very flattering. Length is good too. Glad I got size six. I have big hips but they’re not tight anywhere. Very comfortable!

I first bought some pick pocket proof pants for a trip to Spain. I was looking on Amazon for a pair with zippers for my husband, and I found Mier pants. I got him a pair and myself a pair. They were half the price of the pick pocket proof pants, and I ended up liking these the best. The pockets are just the right size for my big iPhone and the zippers are easy to use. I ended up turning my brother onto these for the same trip, and we all ended up with at least two pairs of Mier pants (my husband has three). None of us can get over how comfortable they are. They are warm on a cold day and comfy on a hot day. They’re wonderfully lightweight and have become all of our favorite pants. They’re a bit noisy, but not that much. My brother wears his all the time on the golf course, my husband wears his to work pretty exclusively. and I love that I can wear them and feel dressy or casual. These are the best all-around pants I’ve ever had and my husband and brother agree!

These pants are comfortable and trim fitting thanks to the stretch fabric. The DWR finish keeps them looking clean, even with the light gray color. I wore them hiking and to dinner when I wanted to look a little dressy. They were fine for a long airline flight. They dry very quickly when hand washed during long trips. I prefer pants that fit at my waist , not low rise and these were comfortable, no belt needed. Four stars because they do make a little sound when walking.

I have been trying every single pair of hiking, cargo, quick-dry, and even waterproof pants for work, and these pants hit pretty much every aspect I was looking for! The pockets are much deeper than the pictures give them credit for. I love pockets and need to be able to keep my phone on me at work while working on the shop floor and leaning over/crawling under things etc. I have an iPhone 11 Pro, and the front and back pockets both fit it completely and still zipper closed. I can bend over and squat without my phone getting in the way. I could fit half my forearm in the front pockets. The zippers feel like they’re great quality - they’re really smooth and don’t snag at all, plus they’re waterproof. The material of the pants is perfect too because they’re lightweight, stretchy, waterproof/quick-dry, and also smooth. I tried countless other pairs that felt very plasticky and were very loud, but these are not. There’s only a slight “whooshy” sound when you walk, but hey, don’t your jeans do that too? Doesn’t bother me at all.The waist is stretchy on both sides and although I don’t mind wearing belts, you absolutely do not have to with these, so they’re very comfortable. The top also sits at my natural waistline and it is a teeny bit higher than pants I normally wear (I’m 5’2”, and it goes just over my belly button), but at least nothing will hang out when I lean over. Also, these are probably the first pair of pants in my life that are actually the perfect length, so I get to save some money by not having to get them hemmed.In regards to what other people said about it running small, I will say that it was maybe a little snug, but then again I’m used to everything being baggy on me, so maybe it just fit me perfectly. I got a size 2 and I think a size 4 would be a little bit long and slightly baggy. I’m 5’2” and 110lbs. I do have some belly chub, so it was a teeny bit snug at the waist too. Not a problem though, very comfortable. I don’t usually write reviews, but after trying to find a good pair of pants for work and hiking (or even just wearing on a normal day), these are the only ones on Amazon, LL Bean, Columbia, Khol’s, Target, Cabella’s, etc. that were pretty much perfect.You should definitely try these for yourself. I was just about to bring another pair I just bought to be hemmed two ways, so thank goodness I decided to try these at the last minute.

These have a 31" inseam perfect for those with long legs. I am 67 years old, weigh 156, waist 34", hips 42 and ordered size 12. It's really hard to find pants to fit my hips that are not big in the waist. These fit very well because of the elastic in the waist. If I gain or lose weight the elastic will accommodate. They also have a loose fit that I prefer. Construction is high quality, worth the extra $20 over other pants. All the pockets are zippered, great for travelling and deterring pick-pockets. Front side pockets are very deep, big plus. The material is light weight, good for 100 degrees in Texas, MOSQUITO proof and easy to pack. We spent a day at a lake cabin in Alaska. The mosquitos were so fierce and abundant we ran from the car to the cabin. My grandson got 3 bites and I got none. Also resists stains. I sat on some chocolate and did not realize it until the next day. It was an inch in diameter stain that rinsed right out with water.The Khaki color looks good with fall colors, sage greens, deep greens, rusty oranges, black, white and navy blue. What more could you ask for? YOU WILL LOVE THESE PANTS! Just yesterday I got a compliment on them. I'm buying another pair in green.

The pants are just what i needed for my next hiking adventure. Lots of pockets, slim fit and light weight.

The sizing chart says a size 6 has a 30-31 inch waist, but the actual measurement is 27". Big difference. Hips are a little bigger, at 38". Otherwise the pants are pretty nice. They're made of a stretchy parachute cloth type material and I think they would dry very fast. They have 6 pockets, all zippered and big enough to fit a passport. I wouldn't call them security pockets though as a the flap over the zipper only just covers it and a pickpocket can get into that. These would be great if they had true security pockets. And the sizing chart needs to be revised.
