Great replacement bulb for family heirloom horn.
Found an old (1950's) brass taxi horn belonging to my father. Rubber bulb had deteriorated over the years. Wanted to salvage horn and pass on to my grandson for sentimental reasons. Was excited to find a replacement offered by Bone Dry. Price was right, delivery was fast, and service was great. Very satisfied with final product received. They have a lot of great horns for sale and I'm contemplating another purchase so our household will have a horn.

Fast and efficient service
Did not like the fact they would not screw right on to the old tube. I think when they crimped the tube to in seat into rubber bulb it did not allow thethe old tube to go in far enough to start thread.

Hard to find horn bulb, been looking for a replacement
I had an old horn from my grandad. It could have been 100 years old. Picked it up one day and squeezed the bulb and it crumbled. Looked for a long time for a replacement, finally found this one. Fit perfectly. Very happy with my purchase. Quicker shipping than quoted as well. Thanks Scott.

Works just fine. I had to remove the brass fitting from the bulb and use the original fitting for the horn. but this was not due to any faulty workmanship. I had apparently not measured my threads right. the bulb is big enough to push plenty of air through the horn. My wife hates it, so it must be good. ;)

SIMPLIER THAN I THOUGHT
Once the old rock hard bulb and collar were removed and the horn tube was wire brushed complete of old residue. The removal of the new collar and installed threaded tube went as advertised, 1/8" screw driver blade prying procedure went easily. The application of the bulb to my 3/4" horn shank was facilitated with a bit of WD-40 "dry lube". I worked it on easily, the installation of the new collar was a bit more of a job. One must apply constant thumb pressure to the collar while pushing the rubber of the bulb slowly but surely under the collar, bit by bit. Working around the circumference of the collar several trips slowly slipped it on. I'm back in action!!

Honk! Honk!
Perfect!Fixed my old Star auto horn right upThe little booklet included helped me figure out best method of attachment for my horn since bulb and included hardware works for a lot different horns. I didnt use the collar or brass tube that came with bulb but would have if mine were missing.

Super Replacement
You can see from the photos that my horn was in desperate need of a replacement bulb! The new horn fits with some adjustment as suggested by the tips that came with the bulb. After all these years I had no idea how easy it was to find and then replace the bulb. Honking again!
