My go to leader for trout. All weights
My go leader for trout. All weights. Hold leader in each hand and stretch as needed to remove coil memory.To eliminate the need to tie knots, I use fly line and leaders with loops and tippet rings for adding tippet. Makes it easier since I cant see as well as I used to. Does not seem to effect the fish.

It's rio, does it really need to be explained?
Rio makes some of the highest quality fly lines, tippets, and leaders on the market. They are long lasting and have good flex and don't hold too much line memory either. I use these for multispecies and just use my old shorts for heavier fish and tie with a stronger tippet and use my new leaders for nymphs and dry flies. Excellent line

Defective.
I’ve been using these Rio leaders for years without issue, but this last batch were most definitely defective. Bought a 3 pack, lost 3 2+lb fish because each leader broke off not where I tied on my 5x tippet but rather about 3 ft up from it. Definitely a manufacturer defect. I can normally fish a single leader over a weekend or sometimes even two. I went through 3 in less than 2 hours. Bummed.
