All ages are having fun with this RC car in our family.
Our whole family is having a blast with this RC car!! I have a 2.5 year son that can control it no problem. Seems to be very durable...we havent been easy on it. Im a big kid myself and this takes me back to playing with RC Cars with my daddy. We have built ramps for it, jumped it off of things, made it do flips....and still keeps going. Only downfall i see to this car is that you have to unscrew the battery pack cover everytime you have to charge the rechargeable battery. Thankfully it comes with a tiny screwdriver and lots of extra screws. I would definitely purchase again...may need another one so me and my little boy can race them!!!

You can't stop this rc!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. You can't stop this rc! It's a car all sleek and low, push a button, now it's a truck climbing it all. Me, my husband and 3 boys all had a turn at having fun with this rc the first time it was charged. It held a charge and worked for an hour! We drove it around our backyard. It's full of rocks and inclines. It went up stones, hills, even drove up a storage tote and landed upside down and took off without pausing. If you got stuck you could just transform and most of the time that solved the problem. I did find sticks were pretty hard to get unstuck from but that's expected. It's range reached across our whole backyard which is 150 feet. It's a nice sturdy rc that will ensure a lot of abuse. Also the usb plug was too snug for a two usb ports but after trying a third it fit and charged just fine.My youngest is 4 and he had no problem playing with this rc! Now everyone wants their own rc so we can chase each other around with them.

Speedy with Great Moves!
I have purchased many RCs for my kids, but this one is the absolute best! It’s much faster than others we’ve used, great turns, reverses well, and has a button for elevating and lowering the vehicle. My 9-year old thinks it’s pretty awesome, and I may or may not have played with it once he was asleep :) Definitely 5 stars from this mom of 3!!*For those purchasing, allow 2-3 hours for the vehicle to fully charge. It comes with a battery pack and cable, and the extra screws and screw driver are super helpful! A+ for that

Do NOT Buy
Do NOT Buy! The overwhelmingly positive reviews on this item are unquestionably fraudulent. This product is perhaps the very worst value we have ever received from an Amazon purchase. The design of the car is not bad, but it is relatively small, especially for $50. The car functions fairly well, but it is difficult to steer because the body flexes to turn, rather than just turning the wheels. The battery life is very short. Worse, to charge the battery, you have to remove two screws, unplug it and then plug it into a cheap charger that gives no indication of when the battery is charged. The battery itself looks like four double A batteries crudely taped together. It is all very cheap and inconvenient for a $50 product. The company seemingly recognizes the battery life issue because the box included a flyer instructing people how to request a free additional battery. Again, this is not something you expect with a $50 product. The high end value of this product is no more than $20. That is what you’re getting, a $20 value. Do not pay more or you will surely be disappointed.

Great Value — Responsive, Rugged, and Fun!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. As I write this, my niece and nephew are playing with this awesome RC truck in the next room; all I hear is the “zip, zip” of the toy and squeals of laughter and delight. I’m no RC pro, so all I can say is that this product is FUN, and it’s easy to use! It has entertained the kids and the dog (outdoors and indoors); it climbs and rams and only rarely flips; it has a great range, and we have yet to run out of battery! For the money, I think this is a great buy!

Meh, But you get what you pay for....
Battery life is not quite up to par, as I had it running for less than a hour, and it was ready for a recharge. The car itself does not run straight, always veers to the left, and it is difficult to control. For the price, you really shouldn't expect much better on the way of quality honestly. So for $30 some dollar's, it is good enough for a mild distraction.Would I buy again, probably not, but as stated it is decent for what your paying.

Fun for all ages.
To be honest, it took me a day to figure out how to use it but I've never played with one before. Ordered it for when the grandkids come so wanted to have it set up. The car has rechargeable batteries you have to open the compartment (picture) with the provided screwdriver and remove the pack and charge for 3 hours. The remote needs 2 AA batteries that I provided. The cool part is, if the car turns over you push the transformer button and it lowers the wheels so you can still drive it and do stunts or drive it back to me and I flip it over. That's pretty cool. But if the car is already upright, don't push that button because the remote stops working, you will have to turn off and on the remote to reset it. That took me a few tries to figure out. The instructions weren't clear enough for this grandma to figure out. BUT it is fun and goes super fast.

Cool RC car, with a surprising amount of tech.
This car has some actual offroad capability. It was able to drive through my grass even without being in the offroad mode. It has 4WD and a unique 4WS system where it pivots the entire front and rear axles for surprisingly good turning radius and great handling. It has some nice grippy tires, but has enough power to make it fun to drift on really smooth surfaces like on my basement's vinyl flooring. I also found that it can sense that it's not in contact with the ground when in offroad mode. It will rapidly turn left and right to shake itself right. You can also make it wriggle dance by picking it up off the ground while in offroad mode. Due to it's design it can easily bump into objects without damage since the tires make contact first front, rear, top or bottom. This also lets it still drive if flipped upside down. The only thing is that offroad mode is only one way, so you can get stuck that way, but if you can switch to on road mode you can usually drive it back to yourself to flip it over again or drive it up a wall or other object to flip it over. Also if you gut stuck under some fallen branches switching to offroad mode upside down can grip surfaces above the car and help break it free. Battery also lasts a decent amount of time!
