I’ve used Belle Color before over the years and always found it good , it hasn’t disappointed, I used a 6 on my roots at the sides gave a shadow root, I used 7.3 all over it has given my hair a nice shade, I’m trying to get rid of a red semiPermanent, these colours are very gently and soft , good for menopausal hair

I’ve used Belle Color for over twenty years now and the results have always been pleasing.I have naturally very dark brown hair and usually go for the light and golden browns.I find the whole process easy to use, the smell isn’t overpowering for me and I do have a sensitive nose. I can’t even use generic Antibacterial household spray’s because they make me wheeze.For my very long wavy hair (down to my lower back), I need three boxes. There’s nothing more annoying than not having enough and doing a poor job of it and I have done that before. Preparation is key to a good result.I tend to apply it all upside down over the bath. Plait it up loosely and then put a clear shower cap on. This addition of heat helps the colour work better.The rinsing is the most arduous task of all as I will rinse until it’s clear. With hair this thick and long, it takes AGES and can give me a crooked neck.I have a mantra of not shampooing after colour for at least 72 hours, to let the colour settle.I also put tonnes of intense conditioner to leave in afterwards so the colour result isn’t immediately obvious to me. After a couple of washes, I can see it and I have never been disappointed yet.I don’t blow dry or straighten my hair and I am a firm believer of treating my hair gently so it doesn’t resemble a bale of hay.

i dyed my hair brown twice in six months (my hair is naturally blonde) so i wasn’t expecting much from one bottle, hence the reason i bought 3. it did mention i could use it on previously darkened hair in the instructions however. i used hair dye remover a few days beforehand, which mainly just turned my hair slightly ginger, before fading to a colour only a tiny bit lighter than it was before. i used all of the bleach boxes, the instructions were good and the process was simple. the bleach made my hair a much more vibrant ginger, and my natural roots a slightly more blonde colour, however i didn’t have much natural root so i’m unsure if it would have gone blonde if my hair was all natural or not. it also chemically burned my scalp, and made it very irritated, but not serious. i wouldn’t recommend for people who have previously darkened their hair, however i assume it would work better on natural hair. overall good price for 3 bottles. you get what you pay for i suppose.
