This magnet is so damn strong, I could not use it for my project and I currently can't find a use for it because it literally grabs things so tightly and so quickly, that its just too much... if you need a STRONG magnet ... this is the one... If I screwed a bolt into this thing, then hung 30 lbs on it and stuck to a solid steel bar, I KNOW it would hold it no problem! This thing is serious!

I definitely needed the strength of these magnets but make sure you have something to thread into the hole before you stick them to something because they will be very hard to remove.

Pull rating is absolutely correct however their rating is tested on a very smooth, iron metal block that is very thick. However even at half of the pull these magnets are still VERY strong. I ordered and received 4 and are using them to mount a roof rack. Performed the job through testing perfectly. Ordered 2 more today. :)
