I got this because it was on sale and because of the good reviews, but seeing how much my baby (now toddler) loves this toy, I'd say it's worth the normal price as well. As a baby he loved watching it roll, and I loved that it rolled so smoothly and is pretty sizable. You can turn on the sound so it makes noises when baby lifts the truck bed, and there are buttons on the side that make other noises like backing up, or starting the engine (which also makes the truck vibrate and 'rumble'). Our now toddler sees pictures of dump trucks in kids books and points to this truck. I imagine it'll get a lot more play in future years as pretend play to actually transport things in the truck bed. Great quality toy.

Nice toy for 4yr child. It’s battery powered and makes tracker sound when buttons are press. It also light up.

I got this for my nephew who just turned 2yo. (*see my caution below)The Little guy is in the phase of discovery and independence, so this was perfect. I made sure it was on his lap when he unwrapped it, He was fascinated by the sounds and light,and then it rumbled. The the look of joy just before the giggling was priceless! It rumbles and grumbles just like a tractor sound and tractor vibrates for a several seconds. A bit more vibrating than a cell phone, so would likely vibrate off of a table/chair.He didn't want to open anything else on Christmas. He would go through the room putting it on our laps and pressing rumble, we acted surprised, he laughed and moved to the next person. So adorable!*I asked his Mom if I could get it for him, and I know that he will always be supervised when using it. I would not recommend a toddler play unsupervised with this, there are little parts that can easily break off and has batteries, all things tikes would be putting in their mouth.This is super cute, but the arms on the front end, and parts in the cabin dont look like they are sturdy enough to outlast the 2 yo.I searched for "Tonka" specifically remembering how tough and rugged they were for my three sons, who gave them to their sons 20+ years later. It’s a great toy for little boys. It rolls around really well and was a good price. The only thing is every time he lifts the back part up it makes a sound that can be very annoying, especially when he does it 100 times a day. So, it stays switched off 99% of the time.

Sturdy little truck. I love that the sounds are realistic. Not too loud. The colour is vibrant. Got this on a deal so it was a great value for money.

Perfect for a sandbox! My son loves the sound and lights. It’s light but yet of great quality.
