HX AURIZE Face Mask Extender Holders to Protect Ears Adjustable Black 4 Pcs

I bought these for my husband, who has a really big head. (He says it's because he's so smart, but I say he just has a big head.) Without a mask strap, the ear loops of a mask pulled his ears so hard they stuck out like a monkey and turned red, not to mention the uncomfortable aspects of it. I bought other mask straps, but all were too short. These are extra long, but also adjustable. They hold up well, and when not wearing the mask it can hang around his neck. Before finding these, he could not keep up with a mask because it was so uncomfortable that he took it off and laid it down somewhere. Highly recommend for all big heads whose work environment encourages masking.

These clip onto your basic KN95 mask and has an adjuster to tighten the mask. Clip the extender onto the mask. Put the mask on your face as if the extender wasn't attached. Use the ear loops to adjust the mask in place. Now, flip the extender over your head and tighten to pull the ear loops of the mask back off your ears. Adjust the extender up or down for comfort. The extender can be loosened to lower your mask when you are in a safe location and re-tightened when needed. Always use the mask ear loops to position before tightening the extender, because it is difficult to adjust the mask with the extender alone.

The product page shows how to shorten the cord which gives a clue to how to fix if the cord comes out of the clip (or as some reviewers think, breaks). Just grab the round part of the clip, pull the clip away, open the "jaws", slide the cord through the round part (small end first), put cord into jaws and push clip back in round part. I believe that failure is the result of sloppy assembly with the cord not being pushed far enough into the jaws. The further into the jaws the cord is pushed, the harder it is to reassemble which probably slows the process and some workers cheat to speed up the process.For the strap where one end failed, I checked the other and the cord was barely in the first tooth of the jaws. I would routinely check both ends for proper assembly before use.

I'd wanted something to keep my mask in place, where I won't have to put it down, or drop it, or misplace it. In comes the mask extender, which worked well for this purpose. It was amazing: after I attached the mask to the extender, I simply threw the mask over my back, only to bring it back around whenever I needed to use it. So long as masks are required, thus long will extenders be needed. HINT: will pass on an idea to the manufacturers (for females, particularly), to really make it zing!JBL, Antigua, Caribbean.

These lanyards are convenient and easy to use. I’m able to get a good seal on a KN95 mask using one of to tighten the ear loops. They do a great job or relieving pain from loops on the ears. However, they sometimes break just from attempting to tighten the strap before even getting tight enough to put pressure on them.

Simple elegance. The extender has allowed me to keep my mask on my person so when I enter buildings etc. I no longer have to fish though my pockets and try and remember where I had placed my mask. Others have commented what a nice feature to have, even more so with the recent Omicron spreading like wildfire. The product itself is well made, I love the plastic loops that connects to the mask bindings (I had bought something similar earlier in the pandemic, but were made of cheap metal, which rusted and didn't open effectively). I also love the feature where the draw bead allows one to pull the mask tightly, relieving any pressure of the mask bindings on the ears. Would recommend highly.

Thirteen minutes. That's how long it was between the time the package was delivered to my doorstep and the time that the first one of these extenders broke. I picked the package up from my door, opened it, attached the clips from one extender to my mask, tried to adjust it, and the cord popped out the clip, making it useless (and no way to repair).! I turned on the computer and processed a refund immediately--too much money for a product that failed within minutes. Sure, there were three more in the pack . . . how long would they have lasted? Nope. Not for me. I'll go back to my rubber band and paperclip contraption.

I have to wear my mask for extended periods of time for my job and the mask loops cause extreme discomfort to my back of my ears. I used the plastic band type extenders that sit on the back of your neck but, the mask would ride to low on my face and add pressure to the bridge of my nose. The HX AURIZE Long Mask Strap Extenders added comfort to wearing my mask by simply placing the mask loops through the extender hooks and wearing the straps over my ears. No more pain and discomfort. I don't know whether there is another dimension, but I'm forever losing masks and as I always connect the mask to the mask strap extenders, they disappear also. Over an extended period of time, that is. Anyway, these are the BEST type of mask strap extenders as they are made of "knitted" cord and that grippy thing can dig its teeth in and the mask stays put and you save the backs of your ears from smarting. Job well done! Highly recommend. P.S.: steer clear of the silicone cords - they just slide right out of that grippy thing!

These are great when you don't want to have a mask on all the time. You can always let it hang around your neck.

Comes apart (not while using) occasionally but easy to put back together. Will be ordering more.Makes wearing a mask a bit easier on the ears and I can get the mask to be a tighter fit.
