Fabulous
It was a gift for my 10yrs old niece. I haven’t heard any complaints so I will say it was a success.

Great array of colors, and has labels
Got this for my daughter for Christmas, just got to use it once it got warmer. There is 2 packets inside the box, each has the same colors, so there is enough for 2 different sessions to dye. Each packet has a very good amount of dye in it, I would say use 2 scoops from the tiny spokn it comes with for each bottle. Bottles are quite small maybe 2oz, so be prepared to pause and reload the colors. Bigger bottles would be amazing, but having the smaller bottles does help with making pastel colors. I used only one set of the colors and I made over 25 pieces, maybe only 15 if you did very saturated colors.Hints for kits like these, have the materials damp before tying into designs, keep damp while adding the dyes. After dying all items, seal individually in Wal-Mart bags, let sit for 24-48 hours in a warmer spot. After that time, untie items and for the colors to stay vibrant, either air dry in the sun, or dry them in the dryer before rinseing them out. I have rinced them out using the bathtub or washer and both work fine, washer is easier to just run on since cycle ((hint go to the laundomat to do these tips))The order I do mine is:: Dry Rinse Dry Wash DryDo that order and you shouldnt have any bleeding once you wash them again, also less bleed out during rinsing them if the fabric has driedBefore adding water to the dye.Tl:DrGreat product. I'll buy again for sure

Great Kit…but do not expect 36 shirts!
This kit was really nice. Lots of different colors, all labeled and with their own little bottle. Got the gloves, rubber bands and sheet to lay down. Pictures are of 1X shirts from Target. We were able to do 3 1X shirts with only 4 colors leftover. Maaaaybe enough for a small shirt. Don’t get this expecting to do 36 shirts. Can’t really call it false advertising as I’m sure you could do 36 baby bibs?

Buy only NEW Art Items on Amazon ( never got to use product)
I rated this product with three stars as I never got to use it when it came from the Amazon warehouse it was missing several of the components including bottles, dyes, gloves, aprons and rubber bands. So if you read my review please remember I didn’t get to use it so my review is probably more over for the warehouse that Amazon has these products in and the returns that they don’t go through and they assume that everything’s in the box when you buy something that states “like new” you expect at least the components to be there possibly damage to the packaging but all the pieces of whatever kit you purchased is supposed to be there. So my disappointment is more with Amazon and it’s warehouse & it’s handling and grading of products in the warehouse. I read the description & it made me assume only outside box imperfections but the kit would be in tact. I’m still left looking for a dye kit and have to go to the trouble of sending this one back and receiving a refund. As I look over what is there of this kirt it looks like it would’ve been fun and easy to use there appears to be blue dye on the bottles so I know someone had a good time. The rubber bands are nice and thick which makes it much simpler to use while binding the fabric . Thin bands tend to snap in your hands. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to mix any colors so I can’t tell you what the vibrancy or consistency of the dye. My advice I’d purchase only new items on Amazon this is not the first experience like this I’ve had here. The last was also an art product a ‘liquid mould’ 2 part solution which actually came empty. Fun, Easy Activity for Kids and Adults
This kit was really easy to use and fun for all ages. We dyed shirts, hoodies, and baby onesies. The dye is really vibrant and keeps its color really well even after washing the first time. The kit includes gloves, a table cloth, and rubber bands. You need your own plastic bags to store the projects in after dyeing. They over-estimate how many projects you can do, especially if you are trying to dye large items like towels or L/XL t-shirts, but we made do and created 16 different items with the one kit.Make sure to rinse the shirts really well after sitting and maybe wash each item one by one otherwise any white on shirts will likely turn an off purple/red color.Otherwise, this was a great project for kids 1-7 and adults. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend the product!

Great family experience, but instructions could improve for beginners.
I had a good time doing this with my kids and they enjoyed it as well. They really liked seeing their finished product the next day! I was attracted to the large number of colors and it was nice in certain situations like the various shade of blue and green, however I think a few less color choices and more of each would be better. I also wish it came with bigger bottles for the dye. The color packets could definitely be used to fill a bottle at least 2-3 times the size of the ones provided. They were not large enough to provide enough dye for one adult project unless you were using at least 4 colors. I wouldn't say this kit is necessarily beginner friendly as the instructions were not very detailed when it came to the amount of color powder to water ratio, rinsing/washing instructions, or aftercare information. Between using this kit and lots of Google afterwards I did learn a lot so I will be well prepared the next time I want to tie dye anything. But overall it was an enjoyable experience that got my kids off of screens and proud of something they created, especially since they can wear it!

More tedious then other kits
Like it other then how small the bottles are, one bottle color is enough to do half a size large sweatshirt..if that.. also I wish the colored powder would be put into the bottles and labeled instead of small packets that u have to tediously pour in on ur own with a small funnel.. they are soaking now so I’ll find out how well the color stays in a few hours.. but the process was more tedious then other kits I’ve tried in the past…
