4ft 2-Tier Double Decker Rabbit/Guinea Pig Hutch Hutches with Sliding Trays & Ramp

Got this hutch to down size for our elderly dwarf Rabbit as she wasn't getting about in the extra large one we have. Is is a very sturdy hutch and was very easy to put together , this is brilliant for small rabbits. Acess is excellent as well. I would highly recommend .

The big plus was that it arrived earlier than expected! The minuses are the poor instructions, poorly made and probably not very weather proof - I bought a waterproof cover. The hinges on the roof are not fit for purpose - too small and the screws are loose and can't be tightened. However - as an emergency home for two very small bunnies it is fine and a run can be added for them.

This item is very flimsy not worth the money. Arrived with broken locks so the doors didn't shut securely so not fit for purpose and some of the bits did not fit properly . Had to get secure bolts for the doors and sort out the other problems. Wouldn't have bothered but had a bunny that desperately needed to go into a cage. Very dissapointed. Was told I couldn't return it for health reason which is perfectly reasonable but who they would sell a broken cage to I don't know. Was then given a £20 refund which considering the actual cost just doesn't cut it.

Good cage, loads of space to get from one level to the next, the door between levels closes off well.only thing I don't like is the door latches, they only just hold the doors and come open if you rattle the door...have had to change them.

Great value for money and the slide out plastic trays make cleaning out the hutch a lot easier and more hygienic for the rabbits as we pull the trays out, give them a rinse and wash down the inside walls of the hutch where required before putting them back. It is not the most sturdy of hutches but it is solid enough and if looked after should last a good few years at least. Not convinced that it would be fox-proof as is, but we fitted some small barrel bolts to the trays and a couple of larger ones on the doors to make doubly sure that no fox can get at our precious little bunnies.

Bunny needed a new home now she lost her buddy and decided to eat the floor of her old hutch. This hutch was the obvious choice. I put it together on my own in around 45 minutes and a screwdriver, the instructions are just photos but I liked that the screws were labelled for each part. It's sturdy and bunny seems to like it. I like the front door coming down to create a ramp, much easier access.

This is a nice looking hutch but the quality lets it down. The screws fixing the hinges to the lid were loose before assembly and couldn’t, be tightened as the wood was so weak. The screws just pulled straight out. The hinges were also clearly not strong enough for such a large lid so I have to replace them with 3 larger hinges and more adequate screws. The locking arm screws were also too weak to hold it so again I had to modify it this time with small bolts. The size is advertised as 500mm wide, but this refers to the roof which overhangs by 50mm all around so the width is actually 400mm - 20% narrower than expected.

Brilliant item, well made and easy to assemble. I am using it for 5 Serama breed chickens and they love it. The sturdy plastic trays are removable for easy cleaning which is perfect!
