Well made, handy little baskets for keeping stuff handy. I use them for everything from pill bottles, phone chargers, mail, and miscellaneous small objects. Love them!

I was very hesitant to order this basket for a few reasons. First was because shipping was going to take between a month and a month and a half. The other reason is because I wanted an original Nantucket Basket, not a knock off.If you know anything about Nantucket Baskets, the true original ones...you know they are ONLY made IN Nantucket....Massachusetts. I know this because my family is from Mass and it's the only place I have ever found these baskets. Not to mention they are far more expensive...over $650 for a simple basket, than the "Nantucket" baskets on Amazon..In saying that...the basket I just received is SO stinking close to a true original Nantucket Basket it's crazy. The wood used in the basket I got has the same gorgeous high quality wood, the weave is excellent, and there's even the tiny finishing nails <although in making a true Nantucket basket, the artist does their best to cover the nails with the weave.Whomever made the basket I just got did a WONDERFUL job! If you want a Nantucket "TYPE" Basket and don't have the ton of money you'll need for one - you would be hard pressed to find a better quality, better looking basket then right here.If you take care of these kinds of baskets properly, then this basket will last forever. I have a few true Nantucket's and they've been well taken care of and I've had them for 22 years and they look brand new.Do not get these wet. Use a damp cloth if you must clean a stain, otherwise a clean, soft towel will do the job <or a good duster>. Don't put heavy items in this basket, unless it is not going to be moved. Although the weave is extremely strong...it is sill fragile and can break, and there's no way to fix these baskets once they break.I gave this 4 stars because of the measurements. And really - I'm just being picky. The seller states the measurements as 28.5*15*H12cm, which is 11.2 inches by 5.9 inches by 4.7 inches.... and when I measured the basket, <in INCHES> it measures 9.5 inches long by 6 1.4 inches wide by 4 inches tall. I'm posting pictures so you can see my measurements. Like I said - the measurements the seller gave are close, but they are off. Some people do mind if measurements are off, and I usually get little upset if it's really off, but in this instance I'm OK with what I have. I would only ask the seller to readjust the measurements!I would definitely purchase from this seller in the future. Shipping was super fast - I got my basket 2 WEEKS BEFORE it was expected, it got to me in perfect condition. The basket is beautiful and worth the money I paid.Thank you!!

This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I had initially ordered it for use over the tank of my bathroom toilet. It is not the size I was assuming it to be, but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece.The use of this piece should take into account that the bottom of this rectangular basket is wood. That is not typical for many of the woven baskets I've seen in this category, but as such, it provides a great opportunity to insert it in places I hadn't considered before. Dimensions are listed as 11+ inches long, and 6+ inches wide, and a height of 4+ inches.KITCHEN: Line the basket with a cloth napkin and add warm bread. Line it with several layers of fabric (to hug the contents) and add a variety of condiments like jams, honey, salad dressings, salt & pepper and other herbs. Fill it with napkins to add some additional decorative interest to your table or counter top.FAMILY ROOM/ GAME ROOM: There's been a lot of attention given to organizing kitchen pantries, but what about the Toys, Books, Games, and Multi-media items in the room our family's gather in? It may be a great addition to your organized areas for decks of cards, specialized card games, small boxes of games or CD/DVD jewel cases.FOYER/OFFICE/ FRONT OR BACK DOORS: A great holder for outgoing mail, incoming mail, Dad emptying out his pockets at the end of the day, or sitting near the door with an item for someone to come by and pick up soon.This really well made, tightly woven rectangular basket has endless uses in endless places. I feel like it used to be you could get a cheap basket for a gift or to last for a short time OR you could buy a high quality basket that was much more expensive, but could be handed down for generations. In recent years, there's been a blurring of that line and I've definitely ended up overpaying for baskets that are no better than what I'd get in the dollar store.This is SUCH a nice basket. The workmanship is superb and the stability is remarkable. I love the wooden bottom and the fact that no stray... twigs? (Not exactly a basket expert) stick out. Reading other reviews, it seems this is something to be counted on from this brand. It's so nice to find a basket that I feel is slightly UNDERpriced!I got this basket specifically to hold our face masks inside our front door. In case you are considering it for that purpose, it's the PERFECt size to hold our family's big collection.

The Teng Tian Basket is perfect sitting on a table in our foyer for holding incoming mail. It keeps the mail confined to a small space so it doesn't get scattered all over. Each family member can stop when he/she walks by to check to see what mail they received. The basket is a nice size and is extremely well-made. The weave is very fine and meticulously done. The wooden base keeps the basket rigid. The basket would be convenient for organizing many different types of items to keep your home clutter-free. I think we'll get many years of use from the basket. It definitely rates five stars.
