An acid peel that almost anyone can use. It’s effective and does work well.
I have used the MUAC 25 percent Mandelic Acid peel approximately seven times now. I am a self proclaimed beauty product enthusiast, and as a result, I am always testing out new products that I purchase from Amazon. I came across this product while searching for a specific facial exfoliant. After doing my own research regarding Mandelic Acid, as well as reading some of the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try. When researching Mandelic Acid, I found out that it is classified as an alpha hydroxy Acid (AHA). It is considered a gentle peel, with little to no sloughing off of skin afterwards. It is recommended for those with sensitive skin, who react poorly to other types of acid peels. In articles I have read about Mandelic Acid, it was even suggested safe for those with Rosacea due to it’s mild nature as an acid peel. It also has anti-bacterial properties to it, which has been shown to reduce acne in study participants. It reduces the amount of sebum production, and has been shown to even be effective for those suffering from cystic acne. Another interesting note is that some acid peels can actually cause worsening of hyperpigmentarion (also known as Melasma) to worsen. The stronger acids used for other peels actually causes skin cells to release more melanin, as a result of greater amounts of skin irritation (this is especially seen in women with darker skin tones.) Overall, the profile and characteristics of Mandelic acid suggest it is a “one size fits all” type of acid peel. I know for me personally, I did not feel any type of stinging upon use. I typically leave the product on for ten minutes and then wash it off with a mild facial cleanser and a washcloth. There is zero redness or irritation immediately after use, which I really like as well. With accumulated use, I have noticed that my skin appears more radiant, and smoother over all. I do feel that my skin tone and texture have improved as well. Overall, I really do like this product and would definitely recommend it to others. As with any product, please make sure that this is a suitable option for you, and if you do have very sensitive skin, make sure to do a test patch prior to full usage.

Yes and Please to MUAC 25%!
I read a blog a young lady who highly recommended this acid peel so I wanted to try it. For the price it does an amazing job. You must follow the directions very well though. I had it for a month before I used it because you cant use certain products or scrubs before using this acid peel. Plus I have never done anything like this before and I was really nervous it would ruin my face!I finally mustered up the courage to do this but I only let it stay on my face for 1 min and 30 seconds. For my first time I wanted to be conservative of the time the acid stayed on my face. I washed my face off thoroughly because it is an acid and you don't want any remnants left or it will continue acid your face off. Patted my face dry and applied on basic face moisturizer per directions and the results are surprisingly great.I am very happy I tried this and I will continue using this once a month. All the moisturizers I use go in deeper into my skin and since the dead skin layer is off , my skin is very soft and glowing. My mom noticed right away after not seeing me for three months. She thought I had put a ton of make-up to make my skin look so smooth. But I was excited to tell her that I wasn't wearing any make up at all just moisturizer. So, for the price you pay for an at home acid peel for a beginner it is worth 5 stars. The results are instant. Say "yes" and "please" to MUAC 25%!

Clears/Cleans face nicely
I like this a lot as it seems to clear up my skin and make my pores smaller. It does have a water consistency, so be careful when applying. May tingle a little upon application for the first time but overall, I am happy with my purchase and will buy again.

Awesome workhorse of a home peel
Very much living up to my expectations so far from reviews here and in the MUAC site. I've done it 1x/week and only recently bumped it up to 2x with roughly a month total of use. I'm 30 with oily medium olive skin, light to moderate acne, and extensive history In the sun!! I have almost zero new breakouts now, pores looking less congested, skin tone is evening out (less post-acne hyper pigmentation), the skin on my forehead is much tighter, fine lines staying in check and I think with more time the deeper, more serious sun spots and melasma will fade or shrink. It did dry my skin out so much more than I expected and the first couple of times I had a lot of nasty flakiness, but now I do the peel at night and follow with this great little aloe lavender moisturizer they included and a small amount of avocado oil layered over to lock in moisture. Seriously cut down flakes and peeling and I wake up with supple and hydrated skin. This is a great and effective home peel, I recommend it especially if normal aha wipes or masks aren't cutting it, but you're not ready to spring for a professional in-office peel.

Ineffective
I've been using the lactic acid peel from the same company but decided to give this a try when I ran out. I applied it as per the attached instructions but I don't feel this did anything. It's too weak to be a peel.

Be consistent and will see results
I have brown skin and it’s super easy to have uneven and dark spot, easily, but so hard to fade it, this product is gentle, it helps to correct the dark spots, I use it once a week, I like that ir exfoliates your skin, with barely no irritation, I recommend this product 😊

Disappointed
No burning. Used as indicated. Did notice some very small pimple like blisters around mouth a couple times in the past 2 months- product does say may cause cold sores. No difference in appearance of pores or dark marks. Disappointed.
