Bought this primarily for making authentic dijon mustard, and it does not disappoint. Excellent to sip on by itself, and I also recommend mixing it 50/50 with a nice chardonnay for a light summer drink.

It shouldn’t be this difficult to acquire ver jus. Thank you for being one of the only reasonably-priced sellers online!

Less acidic (therefore less sour) than vinegar, verjus has been produced and used in cooking in Europe for a long, long time. I originally purchased it for my wife who is on chemo and cannot drink alcohol. She loves it in a mocktail: 1 part club soda, 1 part tonic, 1 part verjus with a twist of lemon. She has tried other mocktail mixers, many more expensive, and this is the one. Other teetotalling friends love it too. I have not yet experimented using it in sauces, but that will happen soon.

This is grape juice and overly sweet.

Loving this with a sweetener and some sparkling. Makes a perfect NA sangria!

I expected a gentle sourness and bright acidity, but instead it turned out sweet and, unfortunately, non-returnable.

Sorta tastes like wine, but with vinegar poured in.
