Speedo Men's Swimsuit Square Leg Poly Mesh Training Suit

The item is light and fits well. I use it to swim.laps for exercise.

This suit will make a great addition to my swim routine. I need a challenge every now and again. This suit will help with that.

Fair fit. A little loose around the legs. I have thinner to average legs.

These are meant to be baggy, as they are a drag suit. I didn't buy them for that, but to have a more modest short suit, to fit my older guy waist. I bought one size above my waist size because most suits are tight, but I shouldn't have. They were a bit too baggy and I started wearing a jstrap underneath so I didn't have too much rumble in the jungle, as there's no support. So they'e 0fine if you want a square leg a little loose, just don't go too big.

Shorts are comfortable and look okay (if you care what you look like in the water). I do a lot of free-diving with minimal equipment and grabbed these because I wanted something that provided less drag than my board shorts but more coverage than a regular speedo. I was pleased with the purchase for the most part. That said, I'm not sure if it's ocean use, corrosive sunscreen, or my bulging quads ;) but after only a few collective hours in the pool and roughly 18 collective hours in the ocean, the seams began to come undone. They're still useable, but I'd imagine they're going to get raggedy in not too long.

Stylish swimming

I have seen some ridiculous comments about these suits. 100% guaranteed those comments are not from swimmers, by which I mean, at the very least, lap swimmers. These are supposed to fit you tight and the outer layer is supposed to be saggy to create drag as you are swimming your laps.Fits the way it is supposed to - I am a size 29 waist and ordered a size 30, size 32 would definitely be too big. 5'10", 148 lbs, swimmer's body type.The sag looks cool (if you get the right size that fits tight on your thighs), if you get it too big then I am sure the sag will look ridiculous. If you are self conscious about your body this will not work for you.Only reason this gets a 4 and not a 5 is because the orange color, which I also have, is the true 5... amazing color.

I've had a couple of these suits over the years, and I keep going back to it on the odd occasion that I need another. They last for a very long time! I think I bought my last about 5 years ago, which for the swimsuit world is an eternity. A few suggestions...this is a training suit, and shouldn't be worn when you're planning to swim fast. You should wear a normal suit under it (aka a speedo). And definitely order 1-2 sizes larger for this than your normal speedo-type suit (I wear a 28 or 30 in a speedo, but wear a 34 in this).It does take a little getting used to, and you'll feel a little more tired than normal when you first wear it. You may only make it through 1/3 of your normal workout, take it off. Try to go a little further the next time.The great thing about this suit is that when you go without you feel super fast!

I purchase this item 2 years ago (size 28), durable swimsuit but the size a little too big for me now so I order a smaller size that fit me as expected. Love the product.

I got waist 38. Was to big. Fit but 36 would be perfect.

The item itself is fine. The picture however is a bit deceiving. You are only purchasing the mesh training suit. There is still a need to purchase a 'regular' speedo to wear underneath the training suit. We now know how this works so it makes sense, but as a first time buyer we then had to scramble and go purchase a traditional speedo at our local brick and mortar store. I wold have preferred to make it all one purchase from Amazon.

Fast delivery, product received better than expected. Love it. Also, the price is reasonable. Will definitely buy this item again.
