RockstarPure Zero Silver Ice Energy Drink, 0 sugar 0 calories, with Caffeine and Taurine, 16oz (24 Pack) (Packaging May Vary)

Got 24 cans of Rockstar Zero Silver for $28 in June 1, 2020, then today July 28, 2020 I found them for $24 cuz they’re out of stock atm, but I still have plenty, prolly half a case each of fruit punch and grape so I’m all good. I have drank these sufficient to say that I’ve tested it and I don’t find these to be addictive. I do find a get a bit of help in alertness so I’m not drowsy, but they don’t help with adhd, lol. The taste of all these is great. The Silver is more of a tangy taste which I like. Delivery is going to depend on who your UPS driver is, mine is careful so that’s good. You’d have to call your local UPS and complain about that if you have any issues. But good luck getting any change, lol, UPS is run like a madhouse as far as I can tell. But hey, that proves that you can operate a business like a madhouse as long as you get it done. Anyway I’m happy Rockstar is selling these at this price and that there is enough supply to lower the cost.

I usually drink Monster Zero Ultra as my energy drink of choice (and I may or may not be in my 30s and still play video games...). But I decided to buy these on a whim as they were on sale for over $10 less than the equivalent Monsters. The flavor of these is very similar to their White Monster Zero counterparts. Both have a light, citrusy flavor, reminiscent of Fresca or a less-obnoxious Mountain Dew with a slight but noticeable hint of that unmistakable "energy drink twang."This is more a personal issue, so it didn't affect my rating, but one thing to be aware of with these is how high the caffeine content is. Each can of this stuff has 240mg of caffeine. That's nearly 100mg more than most Monsters have or, if you prefer, nearly three cups of strong black coffee in each can. If you aren't sensitive to caffeine, that isn't a big deal; and if you are somewhat resistant to caffeine, it's probably a plus. However, I noticed that these tend to cause more jittering and lack of focus than other energy drinks due to the comparatively higher caffeine content. These negative effects get worse if I drink a second can later in the day, even it's several hours after I drank the first one.

I purchased this product so that I didn't have to run to the store constantly and the price was good. The delivery was prompt and in perfect condition. I only buy this product when or where on sale. I have gotten this product for $1.00 a can on sale. The usual price is 2 for $3.50. So when I see this on Amazon for a comparative price I buy it. This is nit my favorite flavor. I would say it has a similar taste to Red Bull sugarfree in the silver and blue can. However this product packs a punch with 240 mg caffeine for the 16 oz can

OK, I am a huge addict of energy drinks... I usually go for Monster Ultra Zero because Rockstar Pure Zero is usually more expensive retail. I found it on Amazon for a dollar a can which beats the Monster Ultra Zero price most of the time and it's a nice switch-up from the normal Monster routine. Of note, the dollar store usually has these for $1 a can but they're only the 12oz cans. On Amazon you're getting 16oz for (usually) the same price.. at least it was when I bought it! Anyway, this stuff tastes great and if you like Ultra Zero monster, then you'll like this too.

Ok, so I really enjoy this product from a quality and flavor perspective, and based on those parameters, can recommend it. Price is where everything gets sketchy. When I first bought it, a case was $25, which is a good deal. Now a case is $45 and I buy Monster Ultra instead. So if they bring it back down to a realistic price, I'd recommend it, but at $45 I'd just laugh and go get something else.

Update December 2020:I don’t know why they gotta mess with a good thing, but they’ve definitely changed the recipe!I’ve bought 3 cases the past couple months, and they all taste “syrupy”, and too sweet :(I loved the lighter, more refreshing flavor they had before, but now, I’m going to have to switch back to Monster again... because I don’t even enjoy them, just drinking one a day for the caffeine fix.I have been a big fan of the "Zero Ultra" Monsters for years, drinking anywhere between 1 & 3 daily (rarely 3 lol).They taste good and keep me alert, with no sugar crash.However, if I'm having a particularly demanding day with little sleep the night before, I'll switch over to a Rockstar Pure Zero.The Rockstar has 240mg of caffeine, vs the 140mg you will find in a 16oz Monster.Even at my sky high tolerance level, I feel the difference.That being said about the drink itself, my first experience ordering from this seller was not entirely different from what I saw in the reviews. The packaging arrived pretty beat up, with the cardboard tray that the drinks were in being all bent up.It didn't matter to me, because none of the drinks were damaged. I still gave it a 4 star because1: that does matter to a lot of people&2: if the packaging was beat up, it wouldn't have been unusual if the drinks were also beat up, and I probably got lucky.HOWEVER! That's not a reason to not buy! Amazon is awesome with their return/exchange policy. It's free and simple to swap them out or return them, sometimes Amazon will just let you keep the ones you got for free.

I really love the product. But someone at their shipping facility can't figure out which side of the box is up. I get two per month. One is always upright in the box and fine. The other is always slid in sideways. Cans are everywhere, all beat up. Sometimes there is a busted one. And some of them are usually flat. Please, whoever this person is, teach them how to place the crate of drinks in the box so that they do not get beat all to hell!

Excellent price. Better than going to the store and buying 24 individual cans of Rockstar. The energy provided is great - a little more caffeine than other energy drinks, and if you're like me, that is exactly what you need!
