Slim fit? My son is 6ft 5 1/2in. 35waist. Would 36w36Lfit?

Is sizing reliable in the Levi Chinos? Their marked sizes on their denim products seem to be for decoration, hoping its not the same for these.

How thick is the fabric? Especially in pants with cord

The description reads "scarab green w cord - stretch". what does "w cord" mean? also, at least on my screen, the pants look dark grey.
