Lifesaver for a job where a lost bolt or washer could literally mean a dead worker. Bought after reading reviews about strong magnets and they weren't wrong. The wee tip picks up up to 5 bolts, nuts & washers at once. Fantastic. Really handy for picking things up without getting off a ladder or bending, holding a bolt in a tricky hole or sweeping under a large object you can't reach under. Gave the second one to a coworker and suggested everyone buy one.

Use them in a commercial garage and just as good as any other magnet of the same size. Ideal for small screws, bolts up to (say) 13mm. One of those tools that are easily lost so no point in buying expensive. Would buy again.

This magnate is excellent at picking up small metal items from difficult to get at places. Very good at this price.

While it may be able to pick up a tiny screw or washer, a small 5mm nut in a lightweight plastic housing is too much for it. I had to get crafty to find an alternative way to fish out the nut. (Yes, I checked, the nut was magnetic, I had two and in ideal conditions it could barely hold it if I perfectly positioned the magnet.)
