Size:10", Passive, White Sound Town CARME Series 10” 600W Passive PA/DJ Subwoofer with Folded Horn Design, Black (CARME-110S) The Sound Town CARME-110S passive subwoofer is a professional-grade powerful subwoofer built in a light-weight and ultra-portal form factor. It comes with a 10” top quality woofer and delivers 300W RMS, 600W peak power output. The folded horn design doesn’t only improve power efficiency significantly and allows it to be built in a compact size enclosure, but also delivers thick and massive low-end punch. The sub has speakeron input and output connectors and can be easily connected to your PA system. A 35mm pole socket on the top allows you to mount satellite PA speakers. The white plywood enclosure is more than beautiful, it damps out unwanted vibration and guarantees reliable and consistent performance. For a powerful yet portable folded horn subwoofer, check out the CARME-110S.

Don't buy if you want to feel the beats.
Descriptions of this sub woofer sound very impressive and that what prompted me to make the purchase. In reality it's anything but. I didn't want a huge unit for the space that I have so upon reading through the descriptions coupled with the size of the unit my thought was: Perfect!!! Right out of the box it looks great with very nice construction. I plugged it in and connected my Bose S1 to it and all of my excitement went down the toilet. This sub woofer makes absolutely no difference whatsoever!!! I was expecting a lower and deeper bass sound quality now that I have a sub woofer, Forget about it. The bass coming out of this sub woofer is absolutely no better than what coming out of my Bose S1. I repacked the unit and wanted to return but sadly I would have to pay $100 for shipping it back to CA. Because of that I regrettably made a decision to keep it in its original packing and store it in the basement. I plan to donate it to my church as a prize for a fund raising event next week. If you expect a somewhat decent air mover from a sub woofer don't even think about this one.

Not the greatest, and not very musical.
I come from a pro audio background, large scale events. I know the "specs" on this cheap little guy were too good to be true, was just looking for something with some kick for the garage TV. It seems this sub rolls off a bit high. Tight punchy kick drum and bass guitar notes, but no deep synth or "boom" for any type of electronic music. Seems to have a low limit and starts rolling off at 80Hz, and nothing below 65Hz.Yes, it makes some noise. Other than that, just meh. I'd probably spend my money elsewhere. 2.5 stars

Good add on for PA
I power them with the QSC GX5.they work great in the mix. I use the pole extensions and mount my speakers on top. Saves room and allows you to put them in tight spaces. Get the right amp and crossover and you will be pleased.

Powerful deep bass!
Nice! Powerful and compact. Excellent for medium sized rooms- for example: a small bar or a room about 30' x 30'I have tested it in reference to the information above. I have not tried it in outdoor or very large room application. Definitely recommend! I also prefer powered units for portability.

Good sub for the price
Over all this is a decent sub. The sub sounds great in certain spots of the room but can sound distorted at times.

Boom
Workhorse sub for pros. Practical size and reasonable weight and it's kicking in so nice. For the price you cannot go wrong.
