Rear Differential Cover 97-12 Ford F-150 Truck w/ 12 bolt 9.75" Axle

The directions for this are excellent follow them carefully! I included a photo so you can see the difference between your old F150 differential cap and this new one. This fit my 2006 F150 absolutely perfect. Getting the Old stock cap off Was more difficult than I thought. I used a paint scraper and a hammer to get in between the facing and the cap.You have to be very careful not to gouge the facing! You will likely need to get your truck up on blocks in order to have leverage to get the cap off. I had to get mine off the ground 4". I used amsoil product for the higher heat ratio.

This is the premium cover for a 9.75 Ford rear differential. Mine held 5.5 quarts after install on my 2017 Ford F150 with the max tow package. It took about an hour from start to finish and the directions were well written. Make sure you follow the torque specs on not just the fasteners, but the magnetic dipstick and drain plugs. If you over tighten them you will play hell getting them off.

This is a heavy duty, high quality product. It met all my expectations. The built in gasket is great if you need to reposition it for any reason. I'm thinking about ordering the transmission pan as well. Looks great installed too!

LOVE THIS. Went to change my rear differential fluid and saw this nightmare rust bucket cover and I couldn’t get the fill plug off with all of hells might. Must have never had a fluid change before. It’s an 04 f150. This beauty solves the problem with fill and drain plugs with a dipstick! Once you install this bad boy you don’t care how much the cost was. A great buy. And the o-ring seal is genius.

Loved the maghytec on my 02 w an 8.8. I HAD to have one on my 9.75 that I just bought. Super easy to flush fluids w these. I just wish i could use one on my front diff!

Excellent product. Put this on my 2013 Ford Raptor and it really makes the rear view of my truck pop! Because my truck is lifted from the factory, you can see underneath it quite clearly. The headlights of the cars behind me, reflect off the fins. Great visual.Totally satisfied with product. Great quality. Fast service.

Easy to install and gives you some extra added comfort to know that you have more fluid in the differential to make a difference.
