I never imagined how sturdy and durable this bench scraper feels. I like it more than I thought. The pictures tell the story of its sturdiness, sharpness and size. I thought it was going to be smaller, but like this size so much better. The handle is no cheap brittle plastic; I already dropped it. That thing is not going to break!

I especially like using it to cut dough because the dough doesn't stick the way it would with a knife. Once in a while, I have some really soft sourdough, and then it's nice to use the scraper in one hand and scrape it along the board while turning the dough over, which saves me some hand-washing and even a small loss of dough, but I expect I will mainly be using it for the cutting. For instance, instead of using round biscuit cutters for my sourdough biscuits, I plan to use this bench scraper to cut the dough into triangles, instead. No need to round up unused dough around the edges of circles and try to reincorporate them into more orthodox shapes. Triangle biscuits can come out in intriguing shapes and postures, depending on how the dough rises in the oven!

Nice sturdy bough cutter, bench scraper. Good handle snd blade. Only issue was the original tracking said it would take three weeks. Then after a week, I suddenly got an email saying it was arriving in two days.

This tool feels solid in the hands and the handle provides good control. The graduated measurements on both sides are helpful and a nice feature. The way this is assembled makes it easy to clean without the worry of food debris getting caught in the handle. Generally a handy tool in any cook's kitchen, for a multitude of uses.

Edge is nice and sharp, and cuts through foods easily.A protective silicone case would be a nice addition to save possible future nicks if left loose in a utensil drawer.

I use this little tool for everything. Especially when I'm working with dough. It cuts wonderful, extremely sharp, it's sturdy and easy to clean (just wipe with a damp clothe). This is worth every penny.
