This book is an excellent start to understanding structure good and bad
This book is an excellent start to understanding structure good and bad, and where it is generated in the movements of bone and soft tissue. An essential reference for anyone who wants to properly evaluate dogs for breeding, and/or assess the confirmation worthiness of any dog. The text gets a bit technical at times, and I think still shots from the actual radiography would be helpful along side the pencil drawings already present in this addition, but a most excellent book!

Same as original
I loved the original and already own it so I thought this would provide additional insight. Sadly it is just a smaller format paper cover. I still think it is one of the best studies of dog locomotion and every student of the dog should have it.

Dog Steps
This is one of the great dog books, and any person interested in breeding, showing or judging dogs should own a copy. It is written for the novice, but is an excellent learning tool for anyone. The author explains the fundamentals in easy to understand terms. She makes the understanding of canine structure and gait as simple as a complicated subject can be. Betty-Anne Stenmark

The New Dogsteps
I received this book in excellent condition and in realtively good time. The New Dogsteps by Rachel Page Elliott, although written some 4 decades ago, has excellent and timeless information for breeders, exhibitors or judges of dogs.
