This Is A SMART HUMIDIFIER !!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am Thrilled with my New TaoTronics Top Fill Hybrid Ultrasonic Humidifier .....It’s Large... 6 Liter...so you don’t have to fill it very often... it will last for as many as 60 hours on a full tank of purified or filtered water, PLUS, it’s a Top Fill, which makes it very easy to fill and clean....It has 3 mist levels, warm and cool , and a sensor, which allows YOU to set the level of humidity you would like, then it shuts off when your room reaches that level....I have never had that feature !!!!Yea !!!!Ideal humidity is between 55-65%... who knew ???Now, I have a humidifier with a brain ...😉😉Love that !!!My skin and sinuses will be so much better....It also has a timer, a sleep mode, it’s very quiet and I can control the whole thing with a remote ....This is in my master, across the room, so I am delighted I won’t have to get out of bed to make adjustments in the middle of the night !!!!I’m in love !!!!

Lots of very useful features on this humidifier
I got this humidifier for 3 main reasons - I wanted top-fill, easy to clean, and the ability to set a humidity level and have the humidifier automatically turn on/off based on that level. This humidifier checks all 3 of those, and more. The top-fill design is so much more convenient, especially with a larger capacity humidifier like this one. If it were the traditional bottom-fill design, the tank would be so heavy to carry from the sink when filled up all the way, so I'm glad I don't have to do that. The top opening is also huge. I can stick my entire hand inside the body of the tank, which is very important for cleaning. I've had a previous humidifier grow moldy and make me sick because I was unable to clean out the interior of the tank well enough through the tiny 2-inch opening. No worries about that here. This humidifier has 3 preset levels of misting. I thought I might miss having an adjustable rotating dial like on many other humidifiers, but the automatic humidity monitoring feature takes care of that concern and more. Now I don't have to rotate a dial and guess how much mist will be enough for the night. I can just set a humidity level and let the humidifier do its thing. The mist shoots up quite high at level 3, which is great. I've had previous humidifiers where the mist just comes out horizontally and immediately falls to the ground, creating a wet spot in front of the humidifier. I wouldn't personally need sleep mode because lights don't bother me when I sleep, but it is nice that the LED display can be turned off for people who are bothered by that sort of thing. I also don't care for essential oil diffusing, though that ability is there too, for those who like it. I initially didn't think I would use the remote, but am actually finding it to be rather convenient and use it more than the buttons on the humidifier. Sound level is quieter than other humidifiers I've owned, though there is definitely still a little bit of audible dripping sound. I also really like that the fan continues to run for several minutes after turning off the humidifier. This is to dry the mist tube a bit, after use. Anything that helps to prevent mold in a humidifier is a good thing.I've never had a humidifier with warm mist ability before. Being in Minnesota, it will be quite a bonus this winter. It's still too warm right now to use warm mist, but I tested it out just to make sure it worked. There are 3 levels of heat (4 if you count no heat as a level). I could feel the difference between the 3, and level 3 was nice and toasty. Looking forward to using this feature more when it gets colder.Overall, this is a very full-featured humidifier that will have just about anything anyone might want in a humidifier.

Love This Humidifier BUT.......
Bought this ultra sonic humidifier several weeks ago. The first shipment got lost, like others have said. Amazon sent another one right away. Since then, we've been struggling with a 'white dust' all over everything. It's so bad that I can't walk thru the house without a film accumulating on my glasses. And yes, it's everywhere. It's not toxic, altho it could be annoying if you have severe dust allergies. It IS literally 'white dust' created by the humidifier due to high mineral content in our water. I'm attaching pix of my glasses & keyboard that are both about 40' away from the humidifier. This is the 'dust' accumulation of just about 12 hours, on the overnight. I kept trying to attribute this 'dust' to other things, but when the humidifier is off, that issue stops. When we first bought it, we were buying gallons of purified water, which, unbeknownst to us, kept the 'dust' from forming due to the purification. However, that can get expensive at 1.5 gallons every 24 hours and a pain in the butt to haul in 15-20 gallons of water every week or so.So we bought a nice Brita filtering system. Unfortunately it doesn't filter enough of the minerals to keep them out of the water we use for the humidifier. I knew that we needed to use purified or distilled water according to mfgr instructions, just didn't realize we couldn't just 'get by' with filtered water. While writing this review, I found some recommended 'drop in filters' that are supposed to work to remove the calcium & other minerals from the water. Looks like you just drop one in the humidifier water tank and change it about once a month. I do like this humidifier so, I've ordered a pack of 4 of those filters. Hopefully they'll work ad I won't have to return the humidifier. I have till Jan. 31, 2021, to return it unfettered. We'll see if I get to keep it or return it. I'll update my review regarding the drop in filters' success.
