This is a really nice coffee jar, looks sleek and well designed. It comes with a large steel scoop as well.It fits a 200g pack of my coffee perfectly. It’s certainly a lot easier than trying to scoop out of the bag, and it does keep it fresh and smelling new. I think it’s a little overpriced but it does do the job well.I’m a bit too thick to work out how to use the date indicator on the top of the lid, but it’s a neat feature.It comes with a little coaster that has the CoffeeGator social media pages and an offer of free e-books and coffee related stuff, however none of their pages have been updated in years, so not sure what the point of that is.

It's a nice product, supported by a passionate company owner.The product is tough, stylish and seems to do a good job of keeping beans fresh by sealing them in but letting out the CO2.It looks great in my cupboard, comes with spare CO2 valves for when yours eventually discolour and a perfectly sized spoon that seems to deliver close to 14g of beans per heaped scoop.Love this product and will be buying the smaller ones to use at work with my Aeropress.

Having used this container now for a few weeks i can say that it does exactly what its mean to, maintain the freshness of freshly roasted beans. If you don't use freshly roasted beans (1-4 weeks from roast) you don't need this product as the beans will have lost most of their attributes and flavour profiles. Things I like: The container feels well built and large enough to house up to two bags + (250g) of beans. Its dark exteria wall ensures light and to some extent room temperature does not decease the shelf life of the beans. The date stamp found on the lid of the container is a useful addition although I would never use this myself as a bag of beans usually lasts 3 to 4 days. Things I don't like: The price is a bit steep in comparison to similar models on the market however I would also try to go with a genuine original design and product than the soon to follow cheaper knocked off and copied versions, some which occurs far too often in the coffee industryOn the whole, a worthy product that functions well to retain the flavour profiles of your freshly roasted beans.

Before I started looking into this purchase I was blissfully unaware that I had been storing my coffee beans wrong. I would either pour loads of them into my coffee maker where they would sit for days or weeks at a time, exposed to the elements or the beans would be left in the opened bag, again unsealed. The gator storage tin not only looks great and holds just the right amount of beans (I purchase 1kg bags at a time) but it also keeps the beans so fresh that I look forward to opening the tin every morning almost as much as I look forward to drinking the coffee itself as I get the amazing aroma every time I open the tin. Practical, smart and stylish. It also has a date counter on the lid as a reminder of when you put the beans in there.Definitely recommend!

I wasn’t 100% convinced when I purchased this, especially given the pretty high price but I must admit I really like this.I used to store my beans in an airtight Tupperware container and over time (2-3 weeks) you could definitely notice that the beans lost their smack you in the face coffee smell that you get when you first open a bag of freshly roasted beans. I’m guessing the lack of C02 venting was the cause.After buying this I’m amazed that after 2-3 weeks (coffee doesn’t last any longer than that in our house) you still get that fresh coffee smell when you open the lid and this definitely transfers to the cup afterwards. It looks good as well!I think they say that a C02 cartridge lasts for a year so the one that’s preinstalled plus the three additional ones included will last me four years before I need to even worry about buying more!I only ever store whole beans in this container so I can’t your mileage may vary if storing pre-ground coffee, but I do expect it’ll work similarly.All in all, fantastic product and I’m very happy with it.

Ich habe mir die kleinere Kaffeedose gekauft.Da ich meinen Kaffee selbst frisch mahle brauchte ich eine gut abdichtende Dose damit dieser sein Aroma nicht verliert.Toll ist auch der Messlöffel der dabei war. Reicht genau für meine Portion Kaffeepulver für die Siebträgermaschine.Schön verarbeitet und stinkt nicht 👍Gern wieder

This is an amazing product and I highly recommend it. I have an espresso coffee machine that grinds the coffee within the machine. I used to fill the chamber up with the coffee beans. Now, however, I take a scoopful from my Coffee Gator, put it in the chamber and grind that up that one scoop. I honestly can't believe how much fresher and better my coffee is now. And, I have no idea why, but I don't get any "shaky" feelings after drinking my coffee. I only have one cup a day, and it is now the a major highlight for me! Thank you
