DMM Classic Rope Bag 2020

Simple basic rope bag. Enough room for a rope and gear. Nice tarp. Would recommend this item.

I've taken this bag out and it proved to be exactly what I was wanting out of a gear bag. Held my rope, draws, harness, GriGri, and shoes inside the bag with no problem. I attached my helmet and chalk to the straps on the outside and that worked fine. I was able to carry everything I needed comfortably. The hike in was about a mile and I had no shoulder soreness whatsoever; I could easily hike much longer and be fine. Even with no waist strap, the pack handled fine on my back and was comfortable. The inner tarp is a solid addition. It removes completely from the bag and includes loops at the corners to tie the rope off. Really impressed with this bag and very surprised to have such a high quality bag at a low price. 10/10 recommend to all climbers. Could work as a good gym bag too.

100% a perfect grab and go bag with plenty of space for 1 persons complete climbing kit and rope, or just a rope bag that can hold 2, 50-60 meter ropes no problem with some room to spare. These pics only have my 1, 50 meter 11mm static rope in it but you can see the leftover room it has for a harness, shoes, racks, and a small lunch if need be....This bag or the Petzel Kliff are both perfect for 1 persons whole kit for the day..The included tarps are great for keeping that rope clean on site and as a potential sleeping cover...I even used mine for a quick shelter cover to keep rain off of me and my stuff. Great value and quality.

I have been wanting this backpack for about a year and finally ordered it and could not be happier with it. It’s size comfortability and quality are all great. I can fit all my climbing gear in there plus extra room for snacks, water bottle, and extra jacket.

I love this bag so much. It packs down nicely as a backpack and I love that it converts to a duffel bag to carry around the gym while in use. It holds my gym rope, mine and my husbands harnesses, shoes, chalk bags, and has room to spare. I also like the small pocket at the top for holding keys and wallets while climbing. I highly recommend this bag. It would also be great for a short day at the crag.

It's like any other DMM product. Well thought out design. Those straps make it much easier to compress the contents so it's easier to carry. Nice sized tarp that is not attached to the bag in any way so the tarp itself can be replaced if needed.

This bag is comfortable to carry and holds my 80m rope and all my quick draws, carabiners, etc. Great purchase.

Perfect crag bag! Comes with tarp for your rope too. I fit 40m rope, 12 draws, an ohm, loaded harness, several belay devices, climbing shoes, helmet, chalk bag and an arm full of slings and binas with ease and room for more!

The bag itself is exactly what was required. Unfortunately it turned up, minus the detachable shoulder strap.

Love this bag!!! Not only does it make carrying all my kit much easier, it also makes me look even cooler.

A good size bag, that allowed us to put in a rope, harnesses, several pairs of shoes as well karabiners. Comfortable to carry as a rucksack. Very speedy delivery.

Purchased the bag and used it for a 40m rope, shoes, harness & draws once a week. Less than 2 months and the zip stiches fall apart, bag is unusable
