This product is worth every penny. I use it every single week to make homemade yogurt at 110°, and I use it at 125° at least once a month to jumpstart my vanilla extract. I’ve never used it for any other reasons, but it works perfectly for those two uses.

Great product with a great price

After I obtained a Sous Vide container, I used the KLARSTEIN Quickstick Pro Sous Vide twice. First time, I set the target temp to 150F. After an hour, I used two different ThermoWorks temperature probes to check the temp. When set for 150F, one probe read 144F and the other read 145F.For the most recent cook, I set the KLARSTEIN Quickstick Pro Sous Vide temp to 175F. The first Thermoworks probe read 164F and the second read 165F. Interesting enough, when it is shut off, the KLARSTEIN Quickstick Pro Sous Vide display shows the correct temp.Note: in the users manual, there is no instructions as to how to calibrate and adjust temperature accuracy.Checked the Klarstein website and there are no listings for the Quickstick and none for sous vide.This is inaccuracy makes the KLARSTEIN Quickstick Pro Sous Vide NOT WORTH THE HASSLE and forces you to use independent thermometers to cook correctly.

Won't heat -new out of the box. The motor works fine, but no heat whatsoever. The company's phone number doesn't work and an email response said to go through Amazon, but it is too late to return it. I am stuck. This Sous Vide was so much cheaper than most- it was risky to begin with that it would be a piece of junk.
