This is the exact part I needed to replace what came with my pool install. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very easy to install

This was a direct replacement for me. It was easy enough to install, I did have to get a special glue to attach it to the existing pvc pipes. They don’t seem to last like you would expect and there are little alternatives so you use this or bypass it.

I've had the original 14 yrs, I think it was originally installed backward. About 5 years ago the inside came out with the filter, so I started gluing back in but did the opposite of outlined fitting and it worked fine. If I put where it's shown to go it blocked the opposite pipe with a filter on. I got this new one and hired a company to install which he copied how it was already installed. Can you tell me if this is correct or incorrect? I need to call him back out to correct before his work warranty expires. Not sure I could fix myself or my Female self would get her hands dirty. I'm going to attach pics and any confirmation would be appreciated. Just want my Polaris working correctly, Thank you So Much Michelle the Handy Gal lol

Installed in outlet of pressure side cleaner pump to reduce contaminates clogging pool side screen. Pool sweeper now runs longer between screen cleanings. Excellent filter!
