Final Fantasy XV Official Works

The price point is way too high for the final product. It's a nice set, good for collectors like me, but it has to be said £150 is too much for what you actually get.The book is beautiful but the images inside are incredibly dark, much darker than any playthrough I've had. The result is these pages look very cheap and not at all what you expect from £150 book, which is essentially what you're buying here.The notebook contains no stickers from the game such as Luna and Noct used. It's left blank. Pretty, but this is a real shame that they didn't utilise it.The packaging is gorgeous. It comes in a plain outer box and then plastic wrapped inside that is the actual set itself. The design of the box is fantastic, and I feel the most care went into this than any other part of it.I'm a die hard fan and a big collector, but even I find the cost of this a bit galling, especially when the quality of the print in the book is so bad. It also has to be said I now have a headache from the fumes. It absolutely reeked and not in the pleasant new book kind of way.Overall I can only give this three stars. It's disappointing on all counts, and probably a more realistic price point would be £90, not £150.Save your money on this one unless you absolutely must have it. Your money would be better spent on finding the previous book, the yellow boxed one with leviathan on (cannot remember what they called it). The print quality in that book is fantastic and worth the money. This one is not.

Truly worth the money; the book itself is a compendium of details and backstories from the game, but in terms of art I'll say it's lacking compared to other artbooks from the game. But since this is the third or fourth artbook to be released on Final Fantasy XV, I'd say the wordiness is more welcome! The Lovers' Notebook is also astonishingly accurate to the game, and blank-paged instead of lined; prime for any and all writing and sketching you may care to do within its pages.Honestly, if you're a fan of the game this is an excellent purchase you could make. Make it.

I got this product delivered a day before the actual retail release. So, kudos to Amazon for delivering above expectations! See attached images for reference.To start, the box is pretty heavy and the build quality is excellent and on-par for a collectors edition item. The insides are padded with foam and the cardboard is firm and won’t bend easily when gently getting the contents out of it.As described in the description, the acrylic art display is nice, but since it's divided into two pieces, it feels a little flimsy when you put them together. Other than this, the whole package is almost perfect. The notebook that you share with Lunafreya in the game is of rather good quality too. It has this grainy-leather feel, but it isn’t. I probably won’t be using this notebook other than as a display. Finally, the book itself is as the description states – the same regular Official Works hardcover, but bigger and hard-bounded like a tome. I would be careful handling this since it’s white and the material used will gather dust, stains, and fluids from your skin like skin oil, sweat, lotion, etc.Overall, the package is great and deserves to be part of a FFXV fan’s collection. The build quality and detail put into it are excellent.
