I purchased these to wrap some small furniture pieces that we're putting in storage. I was expecting the ultra scratchy type blankets. I had looked at similar style blankets at Home Depot, and considering these were so much cheaper, I was expecting the same to lower quality.I was very wrong. These are SO MUCH nicer. They're actually soft, a little thicker and sturdier than I was expecting, and feel really solid and secure. These are nice enough that I'm writing a review for them... for moving blankets...I put them around my furniture, then shrink wrapped the lot. 10/10, no complaints. (In a pinch, I could also see you using these as sleeping pallets / bases in an emergency situation. They have a nice firmness to them, and I think they would support well, while isolating you from anything cold below. I hope I don't get to test that theory, but if you're looking for something like that, these blankets might do the trick!)

I needed these blankets to protect my furniture for a move that didn't involve professional movers that provide their own blankets. I used them, I kept them and now I can let friends or family members use themif they need them in the future.

Needed a few moving blankets to protect my hardwood floor and furniture during my move, and these were much cheaper than competitors for what seemed like a similar manufacturing quality. The blankets did not shed, or smell strongly of chemicals when I opened them, and felt thick enough to provide adequate padding for my purposes. The material did not feel very rough or prone to tearing and seemed like it would last through at least one move.They all survived the move to my new home, partially covered in snow, with no tearing or defects found, and I still use them occasionally to pad and provide hardwood protection for projects around the house.

Contractor husband needed something for customers furniture, to keep from damaging during remodels...these work perfectly. Came on time and in perfect condition. I will say they have an “odd” smell when first opened. Definitely would order again.

Bought these since I was unable to get the U-Haul brand ones that I normally use. They seem like they will be fine and the price was good, however they are only 2mm thick and not 3mm as advertised. The name brand U-Haul pads are 3mm so I will be going back to those when I am able.

I use these for my guinea pigs in fleece liners. I use a fleece liner (fleece, uhaul pad, fleece) and then another one of these underneath the fleece liner. My guinea pigs never have wet feet, and I change their fleece liners maybe every few weeks with frequent spot cleans and additional pads where they eat and sleep. Towels in fleece liners or under them cannot compare to these uhaul pads. However, do NOT use these in your sewing machine. Hand sew with yarn and a yarn needle and finish the fleece with a sewing machine if you like the cleaner finish. These pads, though very absorbent, are not evenly woven by any means, nor do I want them to be. They have chunks of higher and lower density, and the way they are made makes the price lower. This density variance can cause damage to your sewing machine and needles.

These were a decent price and I didn't mind cutting them up for smaller items like framed pics and mirrors before packing.

I needed these to protect a few wooden and glass items while moving them, and to double as dust covers in a storage unit. They were fine for the job, but I wouldn’t trust them for anything more than scratch protection and very light padding, as they’re pretty thin. The advertised size is also a straight up lie. They’re around 5.5-5.75 ft long at most.

Use these as soundproof in a concrete wall and it worked.

Worked great for protecting furniture during move. Only complaint is that there were metal bits in some of the blankets (like wires) that could have scratched our furniture if we hadn't noticed them and pulled them out. Did not notice any bad smell like some reviewers.
