Wordy Birdy Meets Mr. Cougarpants

For a solid week we read this at bedtime. Then back to the original Wordy Birdy. Then a week of alternating, then a week of "PLEASE PICK ANY BOOK BUT WORDY BIRDY!" But, as much as it can get old reading the same book over and over, that's how you know a book is good...it resonates with your child and they can't get enough. We love WB in this house, even if Mama sometimes needs a break.

I bought this book my 4yr old kindergarten class. They loved the story, but the authors intent was a little vague. I one of my students said the story was about talking all the time, but he wasn't sure if talking was a good thing or a bad thing.

I love Wordy Birdy and now this second book in the series with Mr. Cougarpants. These are my baby shower go to books. You can’t help but fall in love with Wordy Birdy. The illustration are excellent.

Got this for my kindergartener who was requesting Wordy Birdy, as a set. She loves them both and it is a fun book to read with her.

Cute story and illustrations, with an underlying message about how sometimes problematic personal characteristics may be positive traits, and how friendships accept and transcend those issues.

This book would be a three star for the repeated pages on the previous book. But the cougar is adorable and his reaction in the story is different than expected. Extra star for the cougar's character.

The story and pictures are so wonderful! Our whole family enjoys reading this book!

Grandkids 3-5 love this book. I have to read it over and over.
